The room, location and view were great!! However, we were given the incorrect WIFI login AND password so we did not have internet while there. Also, the listing said we had 2 chairs and 1 umbrella on the beach. That was not included. We had to pay out of picket for them.

Very happy stay again at the Commodore
Everything was nice. The view was great, security was most helpful on a daily basis. Bed were comfortable apartment overall was spacious. Only complaint was it wasn't very clean. With mirrors on the walls everywhere you looked, the large smudge marks and handprints hit you in The face. Kitchen items and counters weren't very clean either.
Overall we will be back, just maybe not 1301.
Thanks for all you do.
Gerald the property manager was very helpful. He fixed toilet that was running and got us a hair dryer. This unit does need some updating, but it is still a great place to stay. Would stay here again.
The unit was clean. The view was amazing! We had an issue with the fridge first night, but the young man on call that night was helpful and was even willing to come see what he could do to fix after hours. Thankfully that wasn't necessary. The manager called next morning to make sure everything was okay and even provided his number in case anything else was needed. The guard at the entrance was very friendly and offered advice on places to eat and things to do.
Property was very nice. Cleanliness is usually an issue every year we go but it was very clean. The view from the master and balcony was phenomenal.

The commodore room 1301
I would not stay again. One of the drains in shower was stopped up. Dirty dishes in cabinet and drawer. Broken light in hall ceiling. Bathub with shower doors, where the juccuzi tub is, was dirty with black stuff in the track and standing water. The outside of the place was not well maintained

Photos very misleading
Everything about this unit was very worn, tired, and dated, albeit in an excellent location and with a stunning view. It was hard to tell if it was dirty or just worn. All bedding had been changed to heavy black comforters, which could not have seemed less beachy. The sofas were dark and full of sand, and smelled of prior vomit. We were not impressed.

Location location location!
We stayed a full week and the location was absolutely perfect. Patches Pub restaurant was in walking distance next door and delicious! This condo is on the quiet end of PCB which we loved and we still had everything we needed in a 5-10 minute drive. The unit was clean and spacious which was perfect for our big family and the view was stunning. The pictures do need to be updated but not for a bad reason. There was actually newer furniture in the living room with big comfy couches vs the wicker type furniture so that was a plus! Mattresses and bedding do need to be updated. The pool was very clean and there is a wonderful wood ramp that takes you straight down to the beautiful white sand beach in just a few steps. Super easy to get down to the GORGEOUS turquoise water which was crystal clear and just breathtaking. Panama City beach has stolen our hearts and we will definitely be staying at the Commodore next year!
The condo was not as clean as other VRBOs we’ve rented, and the furniture was dated and worn. Very little is provided in terms of basic necessities like a skillet, pot scrubber, toilet paper, beach towels, soap, detergent, and the like. In fact, when departing we asked the cleaning crew what they do with unused toilet paper or anything else left behind that the next occupants could use and they said they remove all of it. The worst aspect of this rental was the service. The clothes dryer stopped working mid week. We called and emailed Amber as instructed. She never responded. Instead a handyman appeared the next day with no notice, merely confirmed it wasn’t working, and said someone would be by the next day. No one ever showed, nor were our voice messages or emails replied to by Amber. It wasn’t fixed, so we had to dry our clothes on the backs of chairs on the balcony. We packed light knowing we had a washer and dryer, so we were in a bind having to air dry clothes. With all the other VRBOs we’ve ever rented the management or owners went out of their way to make sure everything was as advertised. Not with this unit. For the hefty price we paid you’d expect far more service than what we experienced. The owner is a retired Boeing executive. I hope she changes the management of her condo rental, updates it’s interior, and provides more basics than what she currently does. I should add that the management of the unit, including the written instructions for its use and the rules, are somewhat condescending and unfriendly, like they are used to renting to kids or something. I do not recommend this unit.

Unclean/Subpar management
I will start with the good, the view was beautiful.
I will also add I am an optimistic person and am not hard to please.
We knew when we booked that the condo was rather outdated. However, the floors were filthy. We first noticed our children’s feet were black shortly after checking in, but soon realized our own feet were filthy. Socks were ruined and you literally had to keep shoes on at all times (kept a wash cloth close by for when you needed to get out of bed because they were too dirty to put back in the bed after running to the bathroom). There were also crumbs in the kitchen drawers, and the coffee pot was dirty even in the water reservoir (I bought a new one and left it there). The management first argued with me that the kitchen just needed new paint, and that the floors were as clean as they could be without being professionally steam cleaned (I beg to differ, a good mop job helped) and wanted us to plan a time to be out of the condo (that we paid to relax in) so the cleaners could come as it would take several hours. I was told upper management would be contacting me (I ended up having to get her # and reach out to her myself). That was a whole issue, getting upper management to even respond to my calls and texts. After pursuing their attention every day, I was finally told on the 6th day of our vacation that they couldn’t get anyone to clean the floors on short notice and the cleaning fee would be refunded, so for that I am thankful. It was more of a hassle than an enjoyment to stay here.
Oh and the wifi wouldn’t work, which management said was because this was a top floor condo furthest away from the modem.
10/10 do not recommend- not only this condo, but this property management company in general. We will definitely not be staying with them again.
I am also confident that if this review gets a reply, it will be snippy and casting blame on me because after researching reviews of the company during our stay, it seems that is how they respond rather than just trying to do better.
I don’t know where to start. First off, I’m the type of person who understands that nothing nor no one is perfect so I overlook small things in life that aren’t worth getting frustrated over. However, this is NOT one of those times!! I cannot begin to tell you how disgusted my family and I were with this rental but I will attempt to articulate our issues and reasoning. This was the filthiest condo I’ve ever seen. There was dirt on top of all the appliances, mold and mildew growing in all 3 showers, individual vertical blinds missing from the window and glass doors, permanent stains on the all comforters and dining chairs, the lighting fixtures in the second bedroom and dining area didn’t have working light bulbs, the walls had stains on them, the tvs and furniture were 15yrs outdated and lastly…my wife killed a massive COCKROACH in the middle of the kitchen during the first night. Do NOT judge this rental by the posted pictures online. It’s all a lie!!! Nothing in the actual condo is as it looks online. Even the comforts are different and some of the furniture in the posted picture is missing in the actual condo. The tvs are so outdated that they have VCRs connected to them, which are super glued to the dresser top might I add. The 3rd guest room doesn’t even have cable tv but the cable is laying in the open and has apparently been cut. We were totally catfished and got stuck in this slum because we arrived around 8pm after an 8hr drive and there was no where else to book a reservation for 5 days that last minute after discovering we’d been taken advantage of. This place is such a dump that there’s no way that it should be rented in its current condition. I’m currently in contact with VRBO trying to see if there’s anything further that I can do to have it taken off the site because we got totally mislead and tricked by the online pictures into thinking this was a nice clean condo rental. We felt so dirty and sleazy in this rental. We went to the local store and bought Lysol and bleach or try to at least disinfect the rental as much as we could before even thinking about lying in the beds or using the showers. I took pictures of the entire unit as proof that what I’m saying is factual and how the actual unit looks nothing like what’s being advertised. I will do everything I can to help the listing company realize just how misleading this owner is with this false advertisement online. I still have the creeps just sitting here thinking about it.
The view was beautiful and the beach access was great. The bedrooms were large enough for 2 bedrooms to have king size beds and the third bedroom had 2 full size beds. The beds were comfortable but the comforters were dated and worn. While the condo was great and I would definitely stay there again there a few issues with regards to cleanliness. The walls and floors were dirty. The flooring in the bathrooms along the base of the walls especially by the doors and tub/shower areas could use a good scrubbing. The tile work in the showers had dark moldy grout and needed a good cleaning. In the kitchen by the washer and dryer the floor also needed to be cleaned. The door track for the sliding doors looked like they had not been cleaned in years. The furniture also needed to be cleaned professionally especially the couch cushions and the dining table chair seats. I was concerned about this since the cleaning fee is $200. I’m not sure what they clean for that amount. In addition to this the furniture surfaces were dusty. Even though the cleanliness concerned us we found the actual unit along with the view to be great for the money. If they can correct the cleanliness issue and update the furnishings I would definitely go back and tell my friends as well.

We love the Commodore!
Price Morgan of iTrip and Amber especially have been great! It started with a super surprise gift bag full of treats on the table when we entered. And when the ice maker needed a new filter their very helpful maintenance man was on it right away.

Good Location! But needs updating ASAP!
The pictures provided on the listing look good but the furniture inside and on balcony is in need of massive updating. The master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced caused my wife and I back pain. The overall cleanliness of unit was lacking. The patio furniture was rusted, broken and dirty. Dining room table chairs need replacing also chairs would cave in when you sat in them. This unit has great potential if properly maintained. The size, location and views are great!

A nice trip away
Our stay for this trip could have used more sun and less rain but that’s not something you can change. The room was nice and roomy. It could use a little updating and maybe a few more pieces of cookware but all in all it was a nice room. The only problem we ran into was the beach chairs. On the site it states you get beach chairs with your stay but we didn’t get them because the owner hasn’t renewed their contract for the year. That was disappointing because we do use these beach chairs daily because we have 6 kids and it gives us a promised spot on the beach with them and not everyone wants to pay $40 a day to rent them. Like I said all in all it was a nice stay only a few small things needed work. I plan to book a trip in the next week so we can go again in October. The Commodore has been our spot for years.
Good place to stay, we had a wonderful time! Only thing that could have been different was they only give 2 parking passes for a 3 bedroom condo so one person had to park at a store that allowed them to do so.
