"Property is fantastic, rooms are slightly cramped but that's what you expect in Rome. Location is a bit far from central Rome (about 30 minutes by bus, includes a change) and might be very slightly unnerving to come to at night with public transport. We didn't mind since we travelled in a group. "

Camping Village Roma Capitol
8.0 out of 10, Very good, 42 reviews
"Our stay was pleasant, the bungalow was nicely prepared with towels and bed linen. The AC was much needed and glad it was part of our package. The new pool was amazing and food options around (we had a car) was not bad either. What we didn't like is that we had to deal with an ants problem. We broomed tiny left over food bits and sprayed them a couple of times and it was ok - the management could make sure this happens regularly! The entertainment was not great for non toddlers or adults....

"Location is great! Tons of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Alexandra, our host was very friendly and responsive. She suggested a couple of local spots and they were really good. The apartment has a large bedroom and lots of room for suitcase storage behind the bed. AC was strong in the bedroom. There is street construction / closures in the area currently, but we couldn’t hear any noise in the unit. The place was also very clean - overall, a positive stay in Rome!"

"The apartment was just as advertised. Very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Dom our host was quite helpful with getting us acclimated. He had a map of the train system for Rome and explained the metro and how to navigate. His expertise of the neighborhood and surrounding area enhanced our stay. As we discovered, there are excellent restaurants within a couple of blocks of the apartment. It was just what we were looking for during the first part of our Rome vacation."
