There is a sturdy handrail on the wooden steps entering the house and the bed was not too high for her to get into. Such a cute home with a fun vintage appeal! Great view and wonderful lawn in front of the sound. Sharp knives and good pans for cooking."

I can’t think of a single little amenity that wasn’t provided for us. There were a few maintenance issues that were addressed almost immediately even though it was a holiday weekend. "If anything, the description undersells how pretty this property is and how relaxing just sitting in front of the huge windows with your morning coffee can be. The home is set up and equipped to be very renter-friendly. Snug Harbor is quiet and homey yet within easy reach of lots of fun places.we went as far afield as Halifax and Roanoke Island, and also spent a good amount of time in Edenton, which is areal treasure. We also just spent a lot of time relaxing in the home, feeling completely at ease. We tried fishing without any success but caught some very large crabs from the dock. We’re already thinking of times we can return. Loved this place. "

Everyone had room to spread out, relax, and enjoy their own space while still feeling connected.What really stood out was how generous and well-prepared the host was. They provided an amazing array of water gear—lifejackets, kayaks, and plenty of other fun items to enjoy the lake. Honestly, there was more to do than we could fit into a week! It felt like every day brought a new adventure, and the kids (and adults!) were never bored.This home is clearly cared for with love and attention to detail.
