"Super interesting place to stay. New bathrooms. Very clean. Nice staff. Decent breakfast. Rooms have very basic amenities - not surprising given the placeâs origin, but there isnât even any soap in the bathrooms - no way to wash your hands except to use the mystery bottle of body wash (?) in the shower. The place isnât expensive, so basic is fine, but maybe a few more amenities (like some soap, tissue, an extra towel or two) would be nice?"

"The hosts were very flexible and helpful. We had a family room with two double beds (separate mattresses with automatic adjustments) and a sofa bed. There was a wall mounted TV and a fridge (hidden away in a closet). The bathroom was excellent, with a large walk-in shower with rain and flexible options.
On-site, there is an excellent indoor leisure facility comprising 10m x 5m pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, showers and ex.
Breakfast was a large choice of breads, croissants, home made jams,...
"We booked this super late and the staff were magnificent about accomodating us. The rooms are beautiful and unique. The breakfast was so fresh and made from local produce. I stay at hotels almost every week and this was special. I couldnât recommend this place enough. Thanks for having us. "

"Lovely 16C old house in the centre of Saintes bags of character and very friendly, informative hosts.
A little rickety due to its age but this just adds to the charm.
Bottom line is that we would be happy to visit again."
