"The cabin is awesome. Surrounded by forrest you feel like youre the only person in the world.
What's even cooler is its off grid but you dont miss a thing.
Lights. Music. Bathroom. There were even a couple board games. Outside fire ready to go. Exactly what I was looking for."

"We loved the location, king sized beds in each room and 4 bathrooms. Everything was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and feed the 11 of us comfortably. The hot tub was a huge hit!"

"The room was clean and well furnished and the front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. Even though we were technically in a room where dogs were allowed, the room did not smell like dogs and there was not a trace that anyone had slept in it that had a dog, which is a plus. Love dogs, but not the smell of other's dogs. Additionally, the Inn's restaurant was amazing - rustic, with nooks and dark benches and tables - just like going back into time to the 1700s, but way cleaner. The food was excellent as well, and the wait staff was very attentive.
Only negative about the entire Inn experience was the breakfast, which was surprising. The online reviews for breakfast were excellent, so hopes were high, but it was not the greatest experience for us. First, breakfast was in a completely separate building that was about a block away across the street. We trudged through the rain to try and find it but had no luck so had to trudge back and ask the front desk (which was also in a separate building) staff. When we finally found it, the breakfast consisted of some danishes and muffins along with some sad looking hard boiled eggs and toast. No bacon or even a waffle maker. At the same time, a fitness group was pumping weights right outside of the glass doors to the beat of some very upbeat music. And while this was interesting, it was not the best atmosphere for a quiet breakfast. We left and went to a nearby diner where I had freshly cooked scrambled eggs, bacon and toast."
"The only disappointment was sleeping on the convertible sofa which was rather uncomfortable probably due to my being an 80 yr old. However I was very happy to get a reservation at the last minute. Staff was courteous and very helpful both at check in and check out. I would certainly stay there again."
"Our room had a sweet porch with two rocking chairs! Loved the vibe in beautifully restored historic buildings with a modern refresh but old moldings and walls intact. Pool was fun with lunch offerings and the Babbler bar was hopping, great place for a bite and a drink. Went to a wedding nearby so it was our first time to the area, beautiful scenery!"
"Just a quick one night stay to visit Kingston and surrounding Hudson Valley towns of Hudson and the Olana Estate. Property was very comfortable and cool after hot day of driving/hiking."
"Absolutely loved our stay and wish we stayed longer! You could easily make your stay at the emerson a romantic trip, a girls trip or a family trip. In this case it was a romantic one and me and my husband had a great time. The staff is truly incredible, so friendly and helpful and just lovely. Our room was great, spotless and comfortable. We didnt dine at the resort but we did use the pool and spa amentities and I also had an amazing deep tissue massage! We ventured to Woodstock not far away for a great meal at Good Night. Highly recommend if you want to venture out. Phoenicia diner down the road is an iconic must. Get the pancakes. We also hiked West Kill Mountain, about a half hour away. Gorgeous hike. The resort was in close proximity to everything we needed, however we could have stayed on the grounds all weekend taking walks and dips in the Esopus that runs along the property. We walked every morning to the lobby for the complimentary coffee that was pretty good and just the walk from our room to there was delightful. Nice playground for kids and a dog park if you have a dog. Just overall an amazing experience and we will absolutely be back with our five year old"
"Great place for a long weekend stay!
Very comfortable king size bed, great shower/water pressure, clean room, very helpful staff. Well located in Saugerties, can also easily get to Hudson, Kingston, Hudson Brick walkway (paved). The connected restaurant Abby’s was a wonderful diner, with great service, food, and prices, where we went to breakfast twice."
