"Where do I begin? Perhaps at the beginning. When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon the reception was locked and dark. We wandered around the side of the building to rest and have a snack before trying to figure out what to do next. Quickly someone emerged from the restaurant attempting to chase us away before we could explain that we were hotel guests looking to check in. "We had an excellent stay here. The family (owners) are both warm and friendly, and the views are amazing. The room and bath are both spacious with a screened window for fresh air. Breakfast was typical Italian sweet breakfast, but they pivoted to accommodate my dairy allergy. Their on site restaurant is open for dinner on the weekends, and the food they served was delicious- my husband especially enjoyed the house made cheese and yogurt. If you like horses or just being out in the country, this is a great stop for you. Clean, family friendly. Highly recommended."
