"Ideal base for exploring Montalbano country. Very quiet location but just 400 metres from a main road along a Strada Bianchi. Loads of space,wild flowers, nice pool, great views down to the sea. Well equipped kitchen, great covered area. Solar power with batteries so a green holiday . All round great."

"The villa is spacious and generally well equipped. The aircon worked very well and the outside spaces, including pool, were fabulous and well maintained. Inside was a little "tired" and could do with some attention in places (some peeling paint and wallpaper in some areas and some shutter louvres hard to open/close) but nothing that couldn't easily be rectified. The villa was generally clean but the oven grill in the kitchen was in need of a deep clean - luckily we only needed it on our first morning when we discovered there was no toaster. The wifi was a little inconsistent but I guess it's a common issue in rural areas in Sicily - restarting the router worked though. The star of the whole show however was Franco - he was extremely helpful at all times and always available via whatsapp to answer queries or give recommendations etc. He also ensured we were provided with a toaster and was kind enough to agree to buy some provisions for us so we had some food for our first breakfast, so five stars to Franco! I should also add that Scicli is a gorgeous little town with some fantastic restaurants, shops, bars, churches and architecture and very friendly people. "

"The place was great. Amazing .. very open. Spacious. I can not say anything negative. The village house is in a side street. Very very very quiet. The a/c worked well. It was extremely hot. There was amazing cave restaurant across the street. Comunications wirh the owner was great. This is a modern way to stay in a real Italian village. The area is amazing. And thank you for the 2 big things that you did. Maybe I will stay here again in the future. I am thinking about coming back. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Nardi. The property is about 15 minutes outside Modica, with stunning views of the area’s dramatic landscape. We enjoyed these views over coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. Between the terrace and the pool, there are plenty of outdoor seating areas and we could follow the shade around the property during the day. After a day out in the heat, we cooled down in the fast acting and effective air conditioning or more often jumped into the pool – one of the highlights of the property. Being a little away from the town, it was truly peaceful and quiet (except for the occasional buzzing of the cicadas) but note Google will want to take you down an impassable lane, so look out for the turn by the utility pole with the transformer.
