"The house was specious and in a nice location with a great view on the mountain The house was not kid-friendly at all. The kids chair which we requested was not there and when we asked the owner he said it wasn's possible to provide one. Besides that, the stairs did not have a railing and the pool could not be closed off which could be dangerous with kids."

Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort - All Inclusive

"Lovely setting, right on the beach. Staff very helpful and friendly, food very good for buffet and three al a Carte restaurant meals included. Room was a good size and separate area for teenage kids ideal. Only half hour drive from Heraklion airport and parking free at hotel. We rented a car as late flight and wanted to get to hotel ASAP. Car rental cheaper than private transfer and easy drive. Paid for late check out as return flight not till after 11pm and was well worth it."
