3/5 - Okay
Close to a lovely beach. We wanted a bed for the night before taking the ferry to Picton so were not looking for an experience in Paekakariki

Wonderful location, lovely to hear the ocean and see the sun go down beautifully. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Came away and relaxed!

Was okay, not as welcoming as the first time I stayed and I would have preferred a room at the back rather than by the road.( Which I had requested in booking notes). Clean and spacious though. Will stay again.

The pizzas at Beach Road Deli are worth stopping for. Great service too. The beach is lovely, the village is tiny but eclectic and cool. It gets quite busy on weekends due to the mountain bikers and walkers, so the 2 cafes get full.
