"I think the only reason this has low stars is really due to no pool and the age of the property.. It's super close to Dartmouth Medical Center In Lebanon/Hanover and has plenty of food choices for the stay locally as well. The parking was right outside our window too, which always makes me feel better in a new place. The property is a little older but if you are looking for quiet place this worked well for us."

"Beautiful, well maintained historic hotel. Turn down service. They sent someone to make up the pullout in our room. This spot is one of the only nice hotels in the area, far surpasses the Marriott’s and Hilton’s on the highway, and a certain lakeside resort nearby that charges double should be skipped at all costs."

"I had help checking in at 1 am which can be impossible at small inns like this. The room was great and had an awesome view of the river out back. It was easy to check in and out. We had continental breakfast in the morning. It was great except that the waffle mix ran out, but we got there less than a half an hr before breakfast was over so that was probably why. The only other thing I didnt like so much was the suttle smell inside the room. They could definitely use some air fresheners to keep it smelling better."

"We loved our stay. The house is one-of-a-kind and a delight to visit. We were well pleased with how clean and well appointed it was, all the linens, towels, soaps, board games, coffee, tea, treats and more... Everything felt welcoming and cozy. The host was available and very responsive. We are hoping to return. Highly recommended!"
