Captain's Nest is a spacious home with ocean views just across the street from the beach.
The Captain's Nest is a classic Pacific City ocean-view home of unique design that is a great home base for your next trip to the beach. Spacious, with a fun layout, this home has amazing ocean views from the deck, and from the upstairs lookout room. There is a also a great game room downstairs with pool and foosball! The beach access is just across the quiet, sandy street.

Layout:
Multi level home. 2nd (main level) entry has kitchen with woodstove, dining area, large deck and living room. The master bedroom is on this level also with a queen bed. There is a full bath with shower.
Downstairs there is a full bath, laundry area, bedroom with queen bed, and bedroom with queen bed and twin/twin bunks. The game room is also downstairs. No garage available. Outside has BBQ area and basketball hoop.

Neighborhood:
Kiwanda Shores is a private gated neighborhood along the ocean front in Pacific City. Security, pride in ownership and peaceful enjoyment of the coastal experience is shared by Kiwanda Shores homeowners and renters alike. A low bank sandy beach slopes to the ocean from the Ocean Front homes. Beach access is available to the Second Row and Back homes.

Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation.

Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply)

Perfect location and atmosphere!

We were so lucky to find this gem! The house fits lots of people, the game room is amazing and it awesome to have everyone enjoying it together. Still plenty of space to spread out when you’re tired and want to go to bed too!! The third floor look out is my favorite. I think I spent most of my time up there. We will definitely be back here to stay again!! The host also have great communication.

Mold riddled home

This place should not be rentable to anyone. Black mold under beds, walls, closet, windows, wooden panels, fridge, deck. It smells of mold. There are cobwebs everywhere, the HVAC looks like an animal crawled inside and died. Immediately upon entering we got sick, elders, kids, and adults in late 30s. We had to find a hotel and leave.

Captain's Nest

What a fun beach house to share with the whole family. The home is well equipped for 9 guests and the layout allows for everyone to spread out or be together. The house is on a quiet street close to the beach and has great view of ocean and wildlife (pelicans & deer). We enjoyed the sunsets and stars from the upper deck. Our grandchildren enjoyed the bonus play room and we all enjoyed the game room. The pool sticks and kites could use a little TLC so everyone can enjoy. KCP were very helpful for the few issues we had regarding stove and garbage. We have stayed at several of their properties and would definitely recommend and rent with KCP again.
