"Our room was very dirty. Reese’s wrapper behind the tv, hair in the bath mat, macaroni noodles on the counter. Something spilled on the closet door by the main door and never cleaned up, sticky spot next to the chair. I dropped something and it rolled under the bed and it was a mess underneath. The TV did not work. The staff was great and tried to help but could tell whoever owns/manages does not care to help make sure the staff have adequate help with repairs and maintenance. The lobby, breakfast and fitness areas were great. The pool heater is broken (I booked this hotel because my kids love to swim) so unless you want to swim in a cold pool or sit in the hot tub, don’t book. The front counter staff and breakfast staff were amazing. Whoever hired them, gold stars. They all were friendly and so helpful. Whoever does housekeeping and maintenance needs training. So gross."

"We enjoyed staying here as we have two times before. The rooms, the views, and the pool, sauna and hot tub are very nice. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and they have some nice touches like putting out fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon around check in time. They used to have a happy hour from the desk and give a complimentary afternoon short wine pour that you could take out to the firepits, but that is no longer offered. We have enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the past but this time it disappointed. The breakfast was the exact same everyday. Microwave sausages, crockpot of white sausage gravy with the same sausages, powdered eggs, cubed potatoes and waffles. By day 3 of 4 they put out a bowl of cut melon, that was the only fruit we ever saw. Would have appreciated more fruits or anything with fiber or protein. I resorted to Raisin Bran the 3rd day and we didn’t eat the breakfast on our last day, I couldn’t do it anymore. We will still recommend this location but wish they would bring back some of the special touches that made this a great getaway. "
