Pros: The main house was spacious and comfortably fit 8 adults and 3 kids, with plenty of seating in the kitchen and living room. There was an entire closet filled with puzzles and board games. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking tools. The outdoor area was great, with a fire pit for s’mores, a new grill, a hot tub with color-changing lights, and a wrap around patio with plenty of outdoor seating. The kids loved the swinging hammock. The location was super convenient! It was within close walking distance of the market, shops, indoor pool, and the beach.Cons: The door code wasn’t working upon arrival. We drove to the rental office to let them know but it still left us waiting outside for an hour while waiting for maintenance to arrive. They gave us a late checkout to make up for it. Most mattresses in the house were uncomfortable old spring mattresses, except for the king suite. The jetted tub was disappointing - the jets all had very visible mold in them. The kids found nicotine gum in the living room from a previous guest. The 2 bbq lighters in the kitchen were empty. Outdoor maintenance is needed. The walking path was un-raked with slippery leaves, slugs, and the solar lights along the walking path and carriage house staircase did not work. The carriage house was a nice concept but had dirty floors, stained linens, bugs and flies. There was also visible mold in the shower.Overall it was a good stay, just needs a little upkeep to make it better!
