"Great hotel for a stop over night or two, 15 to 20 minutes walk from the centre, however i must point out how great the staff were, couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, exceptionally clean and well looked after hotel "

"It’s a motel, not a hotel. Facilities are very poor. The desk is not operating after 9pm so no requests can be fulfilled. We booked as 2 but only had one towel. The “air conditioning” operated not as a heater so it could not cool the room. We will never book a B&B hotel again. "

"A very pleasant stay at Gite du Jouteau with our family of eleven, our ages ranged from 9 to 76. Surprisingly the indoor pool was a bonus with temps in the mid 30s during our stay allowing us to cool off easily. Very quiet area and a relaxing stay in the Sarthe region of France."

"Impressive, attractive old estate, fair price. Beautiful pool and grounds. Good WiFi despite the sprawling house footprint. A few very fancy rooms. Pretty views from every bedroom. Very responsive hostess."
