This is a hidden gem in Oxford! The property is gorgeous, the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was spacious, clean and updated. When we arrived we had someone escort us to our room and show us where to find water sodas and coffee. The Inn is close to campus- about 10 minutes. Saturday morning was game day so a grab and go breakfast was offered. Delicious sausage and biscuit sandwich and fruit. Sunday breakfast was a sit down breakfast and it did not disappoint! I highly recommend staying here!
This hidden gem was amazing! Perfect southern getaway and close to Ole Miss campus. High end furnishings and bedding. All top notch. Perfect wedding venue. This is my new must-stay locale in Oxford.
Very pretty property and kind staff. It was unique in that it is a home built in 2013 styled as an antebellum style home, and is used as an event venue and bed and breakfast. However is more an event venue.
We were the only guests at the time, which was nice as we had the whole place to wonder on our own, but a little unnerving. All the doors to outside are left unlocked and its a large property freely accessible right off route 6. Only lock was code to our room which I did love not having to carry a key or card for. I know Oxford is safe in general but you never know.
The owners were friendly and left us to our own, offered to make breakfast although we didn't accept as we are early risers and they do bfast at 0830. We did text upon our departure and said thank you but no response.
Enjoyed walking the grounds freely, but not much to do or look at in the home. Maybe some games or outdoor lawn activities would be a nice addition. Local books, stories, maps, ideas of activities/concierge would be great.
Also an area to buy or have snacks wohld be nice. Note there were 0 snacks or options for any type of food except for the 830 bfast which was odd.
The Dana room was comfy and roomy but lacked any charging stations or places by the bed to plug in a phone charger without a long extension cord. Bathroom room. Clean. There was no housekeeping during our stay but an envelope to tip housekeeping.
All in all it was nice but more suited for an event venue than B&B.
The property and grounds were lovely. Breakfast was great. However, our door wouldn’t lock, the owners appeared unconcerned- had no back up key . Told us there was nothing to worry about and if we didn’t like it , we could go somewhere else (on a Friday night and all hotels sold out for football game) . They did get it to finally lock Friday but not Sat and Sun.
We shared our concern and they just ignored it. Wouldn’t stay here again due to unsafe, lack of concern on security and attitude.
As beautiful as a Mansion on a Hill should be. An elegant place to spend the night, and less than a 10 minute drive to Oxford. No complaints whatsoever
Jean and Randy are wonderful hosts. Breakfast is fantastic!! A big plus when you are traveling. They make you feel like you are at their home. The room was beautiful. We stayed in the Rebel room. Shower is huge and bathroom was fantastic. Property is beautiful and well kept. We will go back and stay when we visit our daughter at school. It’s about 8 minutes from Ole Miss and if you want quiet and southern hospitality stay here. Thanks for the great stay.
The property is fantastic. Old world charm with modern amenities. We stayed in the Dixie Room. It was huge. It was just my wife and I, but it would be great for family. Plenty of room for kids to have space when needed. Jack and Jill bathroom is a nice bonus. Jean and Randy were very warm and responsive hosts. The grounds are beautiful with wonderful views and great walking. So much better than a hotel. Highly recommend.

Let me start out with the positive. The grounds of this B&B are beautiful. However, the service from the owners was not. If you were going to run a B&B you should at least like people and be able to answer their questions about their stay. The B&B is very rude during our stay. The first morning we were there there was construction next-door beginning at 6:45 in the morning. When we went down for breakfast we asked is there going to be construction tomorrow morning as well? In front of the group gathered for breakfast she said I don’t know I would think people would be up at 7 o’clock. When I responded well we’re on vacation she said if you don’t like it I will give you your money back right now and you can leave and find another place. This was a football weekend. As she well knew, there was nothing available in Oxford at that time. We paid over $300 a night parentheses again football weekend and parentheses to be yelled at by Gene at breakfast. It was so bad that another guest who had arrive from the West Coast came over to us and explain that she had been yelled out the night before. We actually looked online to see if there was anything else available to rent for the weekend. Yes, we actually contemplated leaving the B&B to go and rent a house with a total stranger. That’s how rude the owner was. I would never Stay here again. We are from out of state and have a child attending old mess. I am often asked for recommendations on where to stay. I have a list of places I re
My visit felt like home away from home. The bed felt like it was hugging me; so comfortable! Jean, the manager, was friendly and very accommodating. She is also an excellent cook! Jean helped make my stay memorable and worth coming back. I started recommending Castle Hill of Oxford day one.
Very nice property that really makes you feel at home. Nice, clean, well appointed rooms with luxurious, modern touches in the bathroom. Comfortable bed and living space made for a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was very tasty and enjoyable as well.
Beautiful historic property with several small lakes and a walking trail. They have taken strides to maintain the historic feel while keeping the property in great condition. Our room, (Dixie) was so well appointed and quite large with plenty of room for me and my two college age sons. There was a king bed and twin-sized bunk beds in an adjoining smaller room with a TV in each space. There was one large shower, two toilets and two separate vanities. There was also a small fridge stocked with water bottles, a microwave and a Keurig with plenty of supplies. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely stay again!!
Picking up daughter for the summer...wanted to stay a few more days and enjoy Oxford. Jean made it a wonderful experience. We loved our room - southern charm and hospitality!

I have been coming to Oxford for about 20years. This was by far the best place I have ever stayed. The were friendly and very acccomodating. The amneties were top of the line. I have never felt so welcome and at home. My puppy loved the grounds. I never want to stay anywhere else again.
We had an amazing stay and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Oxford. The Rebel Room was perfect and the grounds were immaculate. Jean was an awesome hostess and breakfast was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return.
It was a beautiful place our room was just perfect the staff was friendly and available if we needed anything. They made us a delicious breakfast every morning
