"I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is comfortable staying in a non-corporate and somewhat dated property. The rooms seem to have been updated recently; ours was updated, clean and comfortable, with new bedding. I have no complaints, and overall I think this was incredible value for what we paid. Several comments have dinged the property for the condition of the parking lot, age of the building, etc. It's true the property needs some work, and the owners are making progress. If you need to be in a modern Hilton or Marriott property, and old-time vibes put you off, then maybe skip this one. For me, I would stay here again. "

The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described, with stunning views of Echo Lake that made every day a truly relaxing delight.The location is a perfect balance of serene and convenient, just a short drive to downtown Presque Isle for supplies or dining, yet peaceful enough to feel like a true escape. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to board games that kept us entertained with our grandkids. This was our second stay here and it won’t be our last if the cottage is available on our next trip. The cottage is a true gem, perfect for families looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.
