"We had a wonderful time staying here. The cabin’s location is absolutely amazing, with beautiful views of the river, pine trees, and the mountains - perfect for peace and quiet. It’s only 15 minutes from the ski resort and about 30 minutes from Lake Placid and a supermarket.The cabin is very cozy and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Even though a couple of days were really cold outside, the heating system worked perfectly and kept the cabin warm and comfortable. With many nearby hiking trails of varying difficulty, the peaceful and beautiful nature makes every walk a joy."

"This was our second time staying at this home for a winter holiday. We enjoyed the hot tub and easy access to Titus Mountain ski facility just a short drive away. Communication was excellent to accomodate our early checkin, and once again the property was clean and nicely decorated to celerate Christmas with family and friends. "

"It wasn't planned however when the need to find a temporary home in Upstate New York, this cottage fit all our needs. They allowed pets and we frequently travel with our animals. Our dog loved running around in the snow. The cottage was welcoming and warm. We slept like babies and enjoyed a nice and quiet Christmas day away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts were quick and responsive, and we enjoyed talking with them. Our dog even found a friend in Ollie to run around with. There was nothing we found wanting and I can only imagine how beautiful the woods will be in the other seasons. I highly recommend this place for a quiet get away."

"The ADK Getaway "Pine Tree Retreat" was as-advertised, and the experience was outstanding!! Everything necessary is provided for the stay and the establishment was very clean. The host was gracious enough to decorate for Christmas, including stockings above the fireplace, and a tree - it was the perfect touch to providing a warm place to spend vacation away from home. We would absolutely stay again. "
