Eurostars Palacio de Christal is great! Very futuristic. Overall the hotel is clean, centrally located. We had a great view from our very large room. The was a shower and an separate bathtub in our room. Beds are very comfortable with is a must after long road trip. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Let me start out to say that the people who.work in the restaurant/bar were amazing. The building is a great landmark and very unique. Our rooms AC didn't work, but thankfully the window opened. There were people running up and down the hallways and screaming throughout the night past 2a. If you want to see anything you're going to have to walk quite a bit or take a taxi.

Good overall, but basic issues need attention The hotel architecture is stunning and the rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is generally polite and helpful. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable, though it can get crowded. Location-wise, it’s a 15–20 min walk to the old town, so not super central but manageable. That said, service consistency was disappointing. I had to wait five days for a linen change, despite using the hotel’s “coaster on the pillow” method. It finally worked on day six — for my bed only, not my kid’s. Also, towel situation was weird: some days we had plenty, some days just one, and one day none at all. It’s a good hotel if you value space and architecture over detail, but for a 4-star rating, the basics should really be tighter.

Medium hotel with unpractical rooms.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the rooms need update. The AC didn’t cool, outside was cooler than inside but the window is small so did not cool the room. The room is unpractical. Few lights, complicated shower etc. Location is half an hour walk from the center.

This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. We stayed in an exceptionally spacious suite (around 80 m²) that was spotless, extremely comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The beds were excellent, and what truly surprised me was the price — it was what I would normally expect to pay for a standard double room. The hotel is located within the Palacio de Congresos de Oviedo, an impressive and iconic landmark designed by the renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. The architecture alone makes the stay feel special: modern, striking, and full of character, with spectacular views over the city. The combination of generous space, comfort, cleanliness, and location made this an outstanding experience. Highly recommended. One small remark: I received two emails regarding online check-out. The second one, sent at 6:00 a.m. on the day of departure, felt slightly unnecessary and gave the impression that we were being rushed to leave — especially as it stated, “I hope you enjoyed your stay with us,” while we were still at the hotel. A minor detail, but worth mentioning.

Pleasant stay.

Interesting architecture of the hotel. Staff were helpful. Restaurant and cafe are not always open. WiFi was quite weak. It's a bit challenging to use the underground garage.
