There are colour coded hiking routes across the property, which are a nice addition. Staff were friendly, and dinner was delicious — a beautifully cooked beef dish followed by dessert. "The honeymoon room was good. Great views across the golf course. Breakfast was poor in comparison with all the others in South Africa. If the price is good then try to stay at Simola Hotel and golf course. Simola Hotel often reduce their prices right down in last few days, worth waiting."

"Great view from the balcony to the ocean. Even it's loud, you won't here the sound of the sea while sleeping. Very clean and quiet, beach is not far away and also the drive to Knynsa doesn't take too long. Hope to be there again any time"

"One on bollard is a perfect vacation getaway. The hosts are most welcoming, the rooms are big and comfortable and the breakfast is beyond delicious. Everything is home made starting from the butter and bread. They also serve a special of the day which is a creative sweet or savory dish. Leisure Island as a destination is a must in South Africa due its beautiful scenery and relaxed atmosphere. I can highly recommend!"
