"The stay was disappointing for a 4-star hotel and felt overpriced for the value and service you get. The sharp mildew smell from the kitchenette basin table top in the bedroom amd the closet behind the shower was unbearable. It seems the aircon also leaks onto the wood. The front door handle was loose as if broken before, which made us uneasy with the intense website warning of potential trespassers. Security at the entrance gate was very friendly, but didn't once scan/record a driver's/car...

"Beautiful views and great potential, but the experience felt rushed and a bit flat. The property sits on expansive land with roaming wildlife, including zebras — a real highlight. "The honeymoon room was good. Great views across the golf course. Breakfast was poor in comparison with all the others in South Africa. If the price is good then try to stay at Simola Hotel and golf course. Simola Hotel often reduce their prices right down in last few days, worth waiting."

"Great view from the balcony to the ocean. Even it's loud, you won't here the sound of the sea while sleeping. Very clean and quiet, beach is not far away and also the drive to Knynsa doesn't take too long. Hope to be there again any time"
