"This hotel is located at the town center and is very convenient for everything. The staffs are very friendly. I appreciate the receptionist introducing me the idea of biking in the Wachau valley. I rented a bike from the hotel for 20e/day and had a good time riding to Splitz and return (for about 5 hours). The hotel also provided me a helmet for free. I want to thank the hotel and to recommend visitors to consider this activity. "

"Charming and unique stay. We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed it. There’s not much happening in the town and the day we arrived the restaurant was closed. Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great. "If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me."

"We stayed here for a few nights recently and whilst the cottage itself was nice, the furnishings were below par and, the kitchen did not have many things we have experienced in cottages across Austria. It was also a place in need of some care. The house was quite dusty, the only outdoor furniture (picnic table) was slanted the moment you sat and, made for an uncomfortable outdoor experience. The bed was of poor quality and there was absolutely no extra pillows, blankets or towels for a longer...

"House is absolute lovely, even better than the pictures. The hosts were so thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed before and during the trip. The house is very generously stocked with essentials and grocery items, it really does feel a home from home. The view from the garden and sauna is wonderful - we went in the sauna almost every day, it was so peaceful! And the location was perfect for us to enjoy the outdoors and local wine - beautiful area, perfect for cycles, hikes and visiting...
