The staff at the front desk were very nice. I got to my room and my TV didn't work. They changed the batteries in my remote and then it worked. My bathroom evidently hadn't been cleaned properly because there was someone else's poop on the inside of the toilet. The next morning I walked around getting ready and I sat down to put my shoes on and my feet were black from the carpet. I told the manager all of this and he really didn't care. He said he'd talk to housekeeping. I think I deserved a discount or a free room for all I had to put up with. Will never go back.

Honestly, if it weren't for the friendliness of the staff while my dad and son were there, I'd be giving this review a -0! As it is, after talking with both of them it gets a 2. Starting with the room, it was clean however my son said it had roaches and lots of them, both dead and alive. He said he was in the bathroom one night (3 night stay) when a roach fell on his head. The A/C in the room did not produce much in the way of cold air unless you were right next to it. The vending machines did not work and the continental breakfasts were not resupplied regularly in the mornings. The pool was also dirty with debris and dead bugs in the water. My family did not complain and should have but my son said the staff was very nice and friendly.

The lady who checked us in was awesome. The room we were in had a small hole in the tub about an inch from the bottom up the side. It had a hole in the back of the bathroom door which had a paper towel stuffed in it. The wall next to the mirror had something splattered all over it. There was no hair dryer in the room either. There was splattered toilet paper all over in the ladies bathroom in the pool area. The men's was out of order. My son's room the bathroom door knob was broken so you couldnt shut the door and keep it shut.

Beds comfortable. Bathroom clean and new. Pool and hot tub in good shape. Both could have been warmer/hotter for my preference. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I recommend this place for a reasonably priced stay and friendly service.

The bed was fine, water and AC and electricity worked, indoor pool was nice, breakfast was good. Noted an electric outlet cover was loose, and shower rod was loose and hanging slightly. Rug was sticky. Hot tub was empty and out of order.

Great service!

We came to stay in Ottumwa while my grandma was in Hospice. She had passed the first night of our stay and we had gotten all of the details done early. They allowed us to leave a day early. Because of this, we are now staying again for the Visitation/Funeral. The only issue we had was our drain was slow. We told the front desk staff and they were quick to fix the issue. Once it was fixed, it worked great!

Room was somewhat comfortable. But it was NOTHING like the pics the location shows. We dealt with 2 different people from the front desk. The 1st was AMAZING & thankfully he's the 1 we dealt with up to our checkout date when we met the 2nd one. The second one was nowhere near as friendly. Website says Hot Tub... That is WRONG! Also, All Vending Machines are OUT OF ORDER! Breakfast area was very limited. Juice machine was OUT OF ORDER. Juices wer supposed to be in a refrigerator. But only Fruit Punch drinks. No OJ or even Apple Juice.
