It features a charming historic centre—a labyrinth of narrow, winding alleys just a few metres from the sea—rich in monuments: the imposing Aragonese Castle, Otranto Cathedral built in 1088, and the Basilica of St. Peter with its Byzantine frescoes, to name just a few. Don’t miss a stroll along the famous “Lungomare degli Eroi” promenade, where you can admire Otranto’s stunning sea and stop by one of the many restaurants and bars that bring the area to life. Finally, there are numerous nearby beaches with crystal-clear waters, all just a short drive away: among the most beautiful are Baia dei Turchi, Spiaggia degli Alimini, and Torre dell’Orso.

- If you’re travelling by car, the accommodation is outside the restricted traffic zone (ZTL) and can be reached by car.
