It has a lifeguarded beach with ample parking if one chooses to drive and includes facilities and crystal clear water.

Dowses Beach is a 5 minute drive and offers white sand, warm water, and a perfect place to collect shells. It also has a large parking lot, lifeguards and a bath house.

It is a quick 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Osterville Village on Main Street which offers both take-out and fine dining as well as a number of quaint shops to spend an afternoon browsing through. Ice cream at Gone Chocolate or Salty Cow is not to be missed! Fancy's Market is right around the corner and has all your food preparation needs.

Osterville is centrally situated to access all of the Cape, and if you want to make a quick day trip to the islands, the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are less than 7 miles away.
