Everything was great, as it was the first time I stayed at this lovely place. The personal touches of a welcome card, snacks, bottled waters and a bottle of wine exceeded expectations. I’ll be back to this wonderful, clean and cozy home!

Our stay in this home could not have been more perfect. From the moment we requested the reservation, we received helpful communication, along with warm & thoughtful touches of hospitality throughout.The home itself is absolutely beautiful. The hosts have considered every detail—from a well-equipped kitchen with gorgeous crockery to a bathroom stocked with fluffy towels. Cozy blankets near the couches made it so comforting to relax while gazing out the picture windows.The photographs don’t do the decor and design justice. While refined and elegant, the space still feels warm and welcoming. The patio overlooking the river was such a peaceful spot to unwind. There are few things as soothing as moving water.As travelers with a lot going on—particularly as we were dropping our daughter off at college—it was such a blessing to return to this sanctuary each day. We are deeply grateful for this wonderful experience and of course eagerly hope to return!

This was the most amazing stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and the decorating is top notch. Everything was perfect and made my stay so enjoyable. The view is gorgeous and I loved sitting out on the patio in the afternoon and evening. I can’t say enough good things about how wonderful everything was. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet close to anything you may need. I had trouble with the door lock (my fault) when I came back from dinner and messaged Doug and Malissa. They responded immediately and Doug walked right over to help me. They have thought of all the needs you might have and even had decaf coffee (which I usually bring with me and forgot) and a special treat , which was sooo appreciated!I had a great nights sleep and loved the nice rain shower. It was a great start to my day.Do not hesitate for a second if you are considering booking, as there are absolutely NO negatives!! I anticipate this listing being one of those that is frequently sold out once word gets out about how wonderful it is. I’m probably doing myself a disservice , as I plan to stay here again when I’m in the area, and I will have convinced others to stay here and it will probably be full, lol!

This was a great spot. We took our daughter to Hillsdale for the day. The house was clean, everything was new, and there were even fresh made muffins for when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, quiet property. New and very clean. Well stocked kitchen, it had everything we needed to make breakfast. Perfect place to stay while visiting our Hillsdale student. She appreciated the quiet, view and opportunity to do laundry! We’ve already booked for spring Parents weekend.
