"I had a reservation at the neighboring Eurostars hotel and was upgraded to a room at the Eurostars Union Hotel. The upgraded room had a balcony. The location is ideal. A few steps to Ljubljana’s central square and an easy walk to the shops, restaurants, churches, and castle. The Union Hotel is historic and elegant, but with every modern comfort. A grand, sweeping staircase beautifully conserved, with sleek silver elevators beside it. Breakfast buffets are included and exceptional with lots of options for every taste. It is undoubtedly one of the nicest hotels in Ljubljana in the best possible location."

"One staff member, Daniel welcomed us warmly, but the rest of the staff was impersonal and apathetic. We were awaken at 7am by a hammering noise, which is the last thing you deserve after a long trip. "
