The apartment was very basic. There was not much in the kitchen in terms of being able to cook something. There wasn’t even a knife to cut a loaf of bread. For the price we had to pay, we had to also strip the sheets, put out the waste paper, and put the towels by the washer. The location was decent, near a metro station,

A basic 2 single bed room with basic amenities being a kitchenette and bathroom. No tea towel, no floor mat for bathroom. Guest must strip sheets off bed and sweep apartment. Bed average comfort and room is looking tired from age and no recent renovations. Self check in via a hotel phone so no staff present to assist with anything. Not situated in a very nice neighborhood but 7 min walk to train station is 2 stops to central station.

The room was nice and spacious, it also had a little couch which was nice, the room also had little stove and fridge. The bathroom had heated floors! The room also had a little safe. Checking in was easy and getting extra towels was also easy

(deluxe apartment) firstly, It isn’t mentioned in the description but you have to pay a holding deposit on arrival. There is also no information about how to check in prior the day, when you arrive to the hotel you have to call a number to get your room key. The hotel expects you to clean the room before you leave otherwise you will be charged a cleaning fee. The walls are thin - we heard arguing next door which went on for ages. There was also no bathroom hand towels or mats. Secondly, I looked at google reviews before and got really worried due to the bad reviews, in all honesty it isn’t that awful. It’s in a good location and if you aren’t expecting a comfortable hotel then you will be fine!

The hotel was wasn’t too bad. The rooms were clean, the staff at the reception was always available. It’s close to the city. I would come back again.

Great Family Apartment

Check in was smooth and apartment was comfortable for a family. Clean and within good walking distance to either transport links, restaurants and shops or even to the city. Only downside was the lack of plates and cutlery for a family but overall I would use again.

Close to Tøyen station - 10 min metro or 25 min walk to Oslo city centre. Easy check in and deposit refunded promptly. However, room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke, poorly lit and very noisy neighbours (minimal sound proofing) and area felt unsafe - particularly at night.

Extra spacious room and bathroom. Well equipped. Clean. Very good location. Smoke detector was extra sensitive. Reacted to steam from the kettle and what I imagine was the dust lifting off the wall mounted heater. Could be a nasty surprise for someone not familiar with those devices. Also one of the hobs on the stove kept blowing the fuse rendering the stove useless. Fortunately the fuse box was in the room. Easy to fix if you know how. I would recommend the hostel for its price, comfort and proximity to the city and public transport. It helps if you’re street smart :p

Clean, spacious apartment-style room with magnetic key cards. Smooth check-in + check-out process though communication with host via Expedia was a bit slow at times. Gave clean towels and plenty of toilet paper. Kitchenette was clean and included a microwave, mini fridge (no freezer), sink, water kettle, and stove top. It came fully equipped with plates, utensils, sponge, and dish detergent. Washer dryer was also a lifesaver for us! There was also a nice balcony through the window which gave some nice fresh air - notably there’s no AC (but that’s pretty common for Europe anyway), though we stayed in mid-June and it was no problem. Overall very clean, safe, and spacious - we were impressed and had a great stay!

Great hotel near the Guggenheim Museum. Nice room with a good bed and all the necessary amenities such as minibar, kettle for tea and coffee, TV, and a nice bathroom. The breakfast was as expected a sumptuous affair.

Room was good, duvets were warm. Getting to the room was a bit of a maze just the building is really cool. I did book a budget double room, and was given a room with a double bed rather than two singles, but there was a pull out bed on the chair in the room.
