The hotel wasn’t as expected. The futon beds were pretty flat and when asking for another futon to double up, they said no. We at least got another blanket though. Sleeping on the floor wasn’t very comfortable unfortunately. We had a great view with our room with a very big/wide window! That was very cool at least. The manga section in the lobby was neat. But the room was constantly damp feeling and kinda humid. Smelt like ocean sewer in our room haha. The towels always smelled off, not clean smelling. The bathroom had a deep tub which was nice but to get into the bathroom, there was a high step to get into there. Didn’t understand the restaurant either. They said private only? The elevator was nice to have but sounded like it was going to break down most of the time. It was okay for the short stay we were there but don’t think we’ll be booking again in the future.

Great location, easy access to transport and Tempozan marketplace, quick and easy to USJ via free ferry. Quick train ride to dontonbori & Kuromen market, not too far for teamlab botanical gardens.
Property is clean and functional, but very small. Not enough chairs, glasses or storage space. And you can hear every step, noise and talking from upstairs and downstairs accommodations.

Like: Area was very convenient fo transportation, shopping, and dining.
Dislike: Hotel is outdated especially carpet and furniture’s. Staff was not attentive and very aloof (especially the non-Japanese service agent. Made me feel like I don’t belong…
