Cabin No. 2 @ The Old Swiss Village - Lake View!

Rustic charm + Modern amenities. Our 1930's Cabin rests atop one of the most sought after view corridor at the lake. Over 100 feet above the water offering views of lake views for miles and gorgeous sunsets. Nestled away in the wilderness, peaceful days relaxing. Located in the heart of Osage Beach for ease of access to everything you need. Adjacent to Michael’s steak house and wine bar!

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is very quiet. Most of the occupied cottages are owned by our family and we often stay in neighboring cabins. Permanent residences nearby with amenities being renovated for next summer. Occasional passerby walking a dog or out for a leisurely stroll.

Getting Around:
There is a local marina nearby with food, docks, launching ramp and boat rental. Taxi Service + Uber are in the area for hire.

Other Things to Note:
This property is owned by two loving families that call the cabin home on occasion. Please take care of it as if it were your own.

*TV programming is accessible via Firestick & Youtube TV. Guests will have the ability to log into their own accounts(Netflix,Hulu, etc.) as desired.
The Alexa Fire Stick remote is the only remote needed to control all apps.

Interaction with Guests:
We live locally and are available if needed. Our preferred method of contact is via VRBO messaging. We are always happy to assist our guests!

Perfect couples cabin

Perfect size, location and accommodations for a getaway to the lake. Great view of lake from the porch. Just minutes from HWY54 providing easy access to golf, restaurants, bars and all the lake has to offer.

Unplug at Old Swiss Village

We were exhausted from all the political “news” and needed desperately a place to revive our spirits. The Old Swiss Village was more than we had anticipated. A view of the lake, clean, quiet place to stay, our dachshund Piper was welcomed, and top notch restaurant as well… it’s a must stay on our bucket list. Trevor, the host, answered messages very quickly. Any questions I had, the reply was within 5 minutes or less. Highly recommend this place to stay !!!

Cabin in the woods with conveniences of the suburbs

I did very little research on this property and I was pleasantly surprised to find an amazing restaurant on site. The cottage was clean, the views were beautiful and the town has everything you need for your trip. The site was quiet and I was able to get the rest I needed. Thanks!!

Blufftop Cozy

This was truly a beauty of a find. Situated on a bluff high above the main channel of the Osage River, you have views up and down the channel as well as a prime sunset every evening. We stayed 3 nights (late Dec) and the cabin offers every comfort.

I loved this place! Truly anything you could need to enjoy the surrounding area. My favorite part was after dark, the deer families come right up to your bedroom window for a magical experience.

It was a nice stay. Quiet. Definitely the off peak season. We just basically wanted to disconnect from everyday stressors and it was nice. People are friendly and helpful in the area. Clean place to stay.

Great Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend being close to friends that live on the lake...enjoyed boating... and the best part was having our own cute place to come home to each night. Love our morning walks also!

We really enjoyed out stay in Osage Beach. Great location for all types of activities in the area. Ran out of a couple of things during our week but they responded very quickly and it worked out fine. We'd come back again!

Amazing!

This was a weekend away from the kids for my husband and myself. The location was easy to locate, and communication was smooth and prompt between management and ourselves. We walked to Michael's Steak Chalet and it was incredible! We had a nice view of the lake, but no access, which was fine for us. The cabin itself was very clean, and the mattress was a very comfortable, Purple Brand mattress - so now, we're in the market for a new Purple mattress! We were able to watch a bit of Netflix and the WiFi worked well. The kitchenette was tiny, but we had no plans to cook, so it was a perfect size. We noticed 2 BBQ grills outside (which again, we didn't use, but that's a nice accommodation). If I had anything somewhat constructive to say, it would be that the coffee maker takes its' sweet time - about an hour to brew a pot of coffee. But it did the job, overall :) We will definitely be back for another relaxing weekend away!

Wonderful getaway space :)

My husband, our dog and myself enjoyed our stay here! It was perfect size and setup. The area was beautiful. We could see the lake and had a great area to walk our pup every morning.The kitchen setup was perfect for morning coffee and tea before we really wanted to get up and out for breakfast. Property owner was very communicative and so nice. Highly recommend!
