"Four of us spent a night here and really enjoyed our brief stay in Sundsvall at the Knaust Hotel. The building has been lovingly restored and is clearly a local institution. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed drinks in the Bishops Arms bar and breakfast was excellent, served in a very imposing wood panelled room. "The hotel staff were friendly, the room was fabulously spacious and comfortable. Great location within easy walking distance of great restaurants and bars. Disabled access was a little awkward as the entrance was along a long windy corridor with some tight turns but it didn't detract from the overall experience. Breakfast was superb. We loved it. The gym could do with a revamp as it is a little tired and the machines are old. "
