"First let me clarify that this was my first stay at Veranda Cottages and I did love the resort. The friendly staff, beach access, the large swimming pool area and the nightly activities were very nice. However, at this price point, I expected more. Here are some of the issues we faced during our stay: 1) The Wi-Fi password was not listed anywhere. Numerous calls and emails requesting the password went unanswered. "Both adults and kids had lot of fun at Oroville House. An excellent property with lake views. Kids spent most of their time in outdoor pool and the gaming room; and so did the adults. Bocce ball and game of croquet was liked and played by all. Although we did quite some cooking but it was fun especially the wood fired pizzas. "This is such an amazing waterfront location with total privacy. It's a huge lot and just wonderful landscaping. Dock, paddle boards, and kayaks for on the water fun. Just a perfect patio with dinner and fireplace seating with water, yard, and mountain views. Really the best setting I've ever had the pleasure to rent. I actually hate to right a review because I want this place to myself but the property needs to be bragged on. 10/10 Thanks for sharing your home with us!"
