"Extremely loud staff working in Rm. 121 (raised voices, vacuuming, banging on something) from 8-9:30 pm the room was beside mine(paper thin walls) Called the front desk because I had to be at the airport @ 4 am. and could not sleep, finally the noise stopped but it already disrupted my sleep and nerves. Also dirty and shower drain was clogged. Not worth the stay, there are so many other budget friendly options in the vicinity."

"It was... Okay. Very convenient for early flight out of BGR. There was pubes in the bathtub, the shower was out of soap, bed was like being on a big pile of mashed potatoes...Sinking. pillows were lumpy... But still- Convenience."

"The room was clean. A little dated. The beds were really comfy. We arrived at breakfast at 830,it was mediocre. We had to ask for more sausage and one man had to ask for more eggs and coffee. It was no well stoked, the employee may have had other duties but wasn’t taking the best care of the breakfast "

"As always my stay was wonderful. I love the Black Bear Inn! The staff is so nice, the rooms are beautiful, the breakfast nook is so well stocked & delicious. Thanks for another great stay!! "

"Checkin was like an interrogation. I was asked for ID for myself and for my partner. The desk clerk photocopied my drivers license as well as my partner's. She asked for my email address and phone number, again because she said that she doesn't hget any of that information from Hotels.com. My reservation was already prepaid through Hotels.com so it shouldn't have been an issue. The property was old but one thing that was concerning was that the tub floor was filthy with black grease-like appearance. The toilet worked but was a very slow flush as if the drain was plugged. I doubt that I will ever stay there again."
