The parking was probably the worst part due to it being so limited. For a hotel that size, parking should be better. Check-in was quick and easy and I even got into my room around 2:30 when check-in starts at 4. The room was clean and spacious, but the water pressure from the shower head was the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced! I also didn’t like that the bed rolled/moved because sitting upright and leaning back was difficult. Breakfast was not bad and it’s a decent place to stay; however I wouldn’t want to stay here again.

The hotel is really nicely maintained and so clean. Really close to Universal Studios and Volcano Bay, so an affordable option if you want to stay close to the parks! Staff was friendly and comunicative. Only downside is that the buffet is not included, nor do they change towels maintain room unless you pay. For us it wasn’t an issue due to it being a short trip, so would stay again if I’m going for a weekend!

There are a lot of trashy people staying at this hotel. Some guy brought a boom box to the pool! Had to listen to rap music with f-word and n-word blasting. After we complained, they gave us the evil eye the rest of the time we were there. Just wasn’t a pleasant pool day. Police showed up at one point due to a “housekeeping issue” not sure why, theft perhaps, not sure. The next day EMS were out front due to a “child and a balcony issue”. Smell of weed. This place is tired and attracting same. Beds are big and comfortable. Bathrooms are small.

Love the location! but the hotel looked old and run down. You can tell they tried to update a little it but it wasn’t done well. The elevators made noises and were shaking a lot. The toilet in our room would run all night.

After a remodel, little changed here. There are no USB charging plugs in the room. Shower controls did not work properly and dripped all not. Wster was lukewarm at bedt. Floors and walls were dirty. No food option at night, no convenience shop. Pool bar was closed by 9 PM.

We do not recommend staying at The Point. We stayed in March 2024. First, there were several issues in our room. The phone was broken so we had to use our own phone to call the front desk. This was a several minute process to get connected going through the phone tree. The TV seemed liked it was from the year 2000. Don’t plan to use it because it will leave you feeling nauseated. The TV displayed the picture as curved making it impossible to watch. Most channels came in grainy. We asked the staff to check out our phone and TV and they looked at them but said they were not fixable! The pillows were absolutely horrible. They were lumpy and hard. Obviously, this did not lead to getting a good nights sleep, which is important on vacation. We asked for additional pillows and they said no! They said they had no other pillows. The pool area was alright, but we couldn’t stay out there long because it smelt like sewage! Our other complaints were there was a sink in our room yet they provided no dish soap. There were only a few towels in our room. The elavators were very slow and creaky elevators. Our bathroom door didn’t latch. The shower faucet leaked. The outside doors wouldn’t open with keys. Oh and to top it off, once we got home and I saw the charges on my credit card I realized they overcharged me for resort fees. When I called to ask about this, they said they were misstated on the invoice I agreed to. Stay somewhere else so you can actually enjoy your vacation.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY I paid 533 for 3 nights and the room was nasty and had roaches the pillows were molded the hot tub was dirty with foot print stains RESORT fees is a scam it’s NOTHING to do at this resort the pool and jacuzzi was dirty the pool table was broken and they charge u 1.50 to play on top of the resort fees what a joke the rooms didn’t even have a broom no ice machine the hut by the pool that sold food and drinks most of the food they didn’t have and the drinks were weak and a waste of money i would NEVER revisit this resort it’s not worth the money and definitely should not be paying resort fees it’s NOTHING TO DO THERE and i felt unsafe in the halls it was no security cameras

Our original room wasn't cleaned at all after previous guests. There was dirty stuff in the room and leaking toilet, so on the floor in the bathroom it was a lot of water. When we came to the front desk they offered us different room, but when we came to the room we found a lot of hair and stains on the bed sheets, the floor was so dirty. It looks like the floor wasn't swept for a long time. So it was just disgusting to be there. When we asked the lady on the front desk to clean our room and show her all the pictures, she got angry and asked us to leave the property. They shouldn't treat their guests this way. Do not recommend it to anyone.

It was in awful shape. The beds are on rollers and very uncomfortable.everything is cheap. You could smell weed in the hallways and there were empty beer cans in the hallway. So gross.

We just came from a 7 day cruise where the bed was awful. The bed in this hotel sooo comfortable. Quiet area that is walkable to many restaurants and to the park attractions. Spacious room with 2 king beds! Happy to stay here

Great location! Cleaning is ok. The hotel needs upgrades. The photos of the hotel were much better than the reality. The breakfast was the worst I've ever had in a hotel, they only served scrambled eggs and cereal, orange juice and black coffee, very disappointing.

The hotel did what it needed to. We stayed for 3 nights. They gave us a 1st floor room which the “balcony” was basically poolside. Everyone at the pool could just look into our living room, and bedroom. There was also a side door to use for convenience, the problem is the latch was broken so all night as people came back and used it, it would slam. All. Night. The breakfast “buffet” was nice to grab a quick eat but the options were limited. There may have been two choices. The pool was a nice area, clean and had music playing. The problem is the music for the first 2 days was a repeat of literally the same 5 songs. Sit by the pool for a couple hours and you’ll be cursing Jim Croce’s name as he again asks the operator to help him place his call. All in all it was decent enough for the price but we would have no reason to return again and not try another resort.

We checked in and the room was warm. Didn't think much of it. Went out to dinner and came back and room still warm. Went to the parks next day and when we returned the room was hot!! Advised the front desk and they were able to move us but we had to sacrifice a bed for a pull out couch. It was a very uncomfortable night. Additionally, the bartender at the pull was rude and the lounge chair was broken. For the amount they charge per night, I was highly disappointed.
