We do not recommend staying at The Point. We stayed in March 2024. First, there were several issues in our room. The phone was broken so we had to use our own phone to call the front desk. This was a several minute process to get connected going through the phone tree. The TV seemed liked it was from the year 2000. Don’t plan to use it because it will leave you feeling nauseated. The TV displayed the picture as curved making it impossible to watch. Most channels came in grainy. We asked the staff to check out our phone and TV and they looked at them but said they were not fixable! The pillows were absolutely horrible. They were lumpy and hard. Obviously, this did not lead to getting a good nights sleep, which is important on vacation. We asked for additional pillows and they said no! They said they had no other pillows. The pool area was alright, but we couldn’t stay out there long because it smelt like sewage! Our other complaints were there was a sink in our room yet they provided no dish soap. There were only a few towels in our room. The elavators were very slow and creaky elevators. Our bathroom door didn’t latch. The shower faucet leaked. The outside doors wouldn’t open with keys. Oh and to top it off, once we got home and I saw the charges on my credit card I realized they overcharged me for resort fees. When I called to ask about this, they said they were misstated on the invoice I agreed to. Stay somewhere else so you can actually enjoy your vacation.
