Good for what we needed

It was a good size place for us. Checking in was not good. The front desk guy locked us out as we walked up and said he was clocked out so we needed to wait for security to check us in?? When the night before I received a call to co firm my stay they said front desk was open 24/7. I emailed the host about this issue with no response for the 3 more days we were there. We received a key from security with our room number with no instructions on how to get to the room just had to figure it out. After driving all day that wasn’t a fun ending to our night. I then had to get up to go re-check in in the morning between 7 & 11. Besides that we were only on property to sleep so we didn’t use the amenities or even really know what they were.

Perfect family rental

Very nice, clean space. We had the 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Plenty of room for us all. We were there for a dance convention, so we didn't get a chance to use the resort amenities but everything looked very nice. We would stay again!

Although we were away from the condo most of the day, it was a welcome sight at the end of the day. Large kitchen, fresh towels every day, super convenient location, washer and dryer in the unit, free parking and wifi, and nice and clean. What more could we ask for?

Perfect location

Perfect for what we needed. Unit was basic but very clean and had everything we needed (except batteries in one of the TV remotes). Appreciated the toiletries and kitchen necessities. Snack bar in the lobby is a good place for a quick snack or coffee in the morning. Location is perfect if you are going to Universal. Just a quick Uber ride away!

Great value, great location

Great place to stay. We were here for a run Disney event and this place was perfect- very convenient to get to the run and all the parks. It is a little dated, but has been renovated and was clean and comfortable. It is not the Ritz but I'd definitely stay again. Our ground floor unit overlooked the pool and met all of our needs. They also happily accommodated our request for a late check out since our flight was in the afternoon.

We really enjoyed our stay at westgate Blue Tree resort. The unit the willow was quiet and nice. 5 pools very close by. Gas grill available making a BBQ possible. The full kitchen had all the items we needed. We'll maintained unit. We really enjoyed our stay. A home away from home. We will come again.

Our recent stay at this property during our DisneyWorld visit was awesome experience. Our apartment was right by the pool. Apartment was very clean and they service the apartment on a daily basis. So after you come tired after Disney whole day visit, you get nice and clean Bed again which makes it feel more relaxing. Also the location of this apartment is only 10 min from Disney which makes it even easier to commute. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jake for timely responses and staying late to provide us tickets at discounted rate.

Overall great stay, just needs a few things. Smells like old smoke. Mold in the master shower. NOT OKAY! Needs a spatula and pizza sheet. Keep in mind: 2nd floor, Very close to the pool 3. Comes with some noise. Having a washer and dryer was a bonus.

Our check in and check out process was seamless. The unit was nice and clean and accommodated our 4 adults very well. The second bath vanity could have been a little bigger but we made it work. The daily linen service was a nice touch although we were forgotten one day. A simple call to the front desk and they were delivered within an hour. Due to the weather we didn’t use any of the outdoor facilities but the complex is well appointed. 4 swimming pools to choose from. The location is extremely easy to find and close to Disney. There a number of restaurants within walking distance should you choose to do so. All and all we were very happy with our stay. Jake is a good owner who answers any question you may have in a timely manner. Never did I wait for more than a day for a response. I usually got my questions answered within an hour or two.

The property is beautiful. The employees of the resort went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The owner, Mike, was terrible and has a disgusting attitude. Even the employees of the resort commented on his rudeness. I paid my total in full. Arrived at the location to pick up my voucher, he wasnt there. I called him and he said he would fax over the voucher to the resort. He never did. I called him again while at the front desk. He said "tell them you dont need a voucher." They said i did. He talked to them and they assured him a voucher was required. He then told two different employees I wasnt responsible for the $40 taxes. After his terrible attitude, they finally let me check in. They called his supervisor to let them know he said I didn't have to pay the $40 taxes and complain about his attitude. He called me about 10 min later and started talking down to me like I was ignorant. I informed him had I known about the $40 fee I would've gladly paid it, but it was nowhere on my invoice. Finally, I hung up on him after getting tired of being talked down to. The front desk supervisor called me and assured me I was not paying the money and his supervisor was aware of his attitude. The entire hotel staff was exceptional and I would give them my business anytime. I would NEVER recommend this owner to anyone. He is a terrible person to rent from and I would never give him my money again.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

First of all, let me say that the property in and of itself was not bad for the price. However, the dealings with the timeshare hagglers made a horrible impression. Pros and Cons of the room: The kitchen and living area were nice. However, there was a large spot on the kitchen ceiling where you could see bulging and cracking from what I am assuming was a previous water leak. The master bathroom was extremely small. When you opened the door, barely missed hitting the toilet. The toilet was so high my feet were dangling (I'm 5'11) The tubs were painted and just looked old. The condo also had a strange smell. I couldn't put my finger on it but I guess I could compare it to mothballs. For the majority, we looked passed a lot of this because of the price and location. However, they sucked us into listening to their timeshare pitch and that is where it all went down hill. We were actually looking forward to the pitch because we are down in Orlando a lot on vacation and thought, "hey let's see what they have to offer"....If I would have only known. The so called 90 minute presentation ended up taking up 4 HOURS of our morning. These people are relentless. It didn't matter how many times I said "I'm not buying today", they just kept hounding me. Calling more people to the table to try and better the deal. Then they try and make you feel stupid for passing up on their "killer deals". Listen people. In NO WORLD is 17.99% interest on anything a killer deal. Finally, upon checkout they were supposed to release the hold for the security deposit. As of right now, I have two holds. I was assured they would drop off within a couple of days. We shall see. We will not go back to Westgate.

Avoid this property during hurricane season!

My friends and I booked this place for a weekend trip in Orlando with plans to go to the parks. Unfortunately, this weekend trip ended up being the weekend that hurricane Ian hit Florida. I immediately contacted the host to see what could be done if the hurricane ended up hitting FL, and to see if he would consider a refund for a late cancellation due to the hurricane. This message was sent a week before my stay, and I could have gotten a 50% refund at this point, but my group and I really did not want to cancel our trip. He waited 4 days before getting back to me, and at that point I was unable to even cancel my trip for a 50% refund. After a few calls he eventually said he was unable to refund us as the timeshare property that is listed already charged his account. I later found out that the timeshare would have refunded him, but he waited too long to initiate the refund. I contact the host again and he said that he could not refund me because of the vrbo cancellation policy. I contact vrbo customer service and they said that the host can still refund me and sent him a message to do so. He has ignored this message per customer service. After the hurricane hit FL, I call him again to see what can be done and he denies there being a natural disaster, denies significant flooding in the Orlando area, denies there being damage to any of the highways, and states that even the parks are open, so there was no reason for my party and I not go to Orlando and that I will be at fault if I don’t show. A quick Google search will quickly dis-prove all of this. He eventually offers to move the travel date to a different weekend, but tells me that I would have to send him more money and he will not be able to give me any written confirmation of the change of date or that this new reservation was even ever made. Unless you’re flying into FL and can get travel insurance, I would avoid booking with this host unless you’re booking the day of your stay.

Disney Trip

This property was perfect for our recent family trip to Disney. It was very clean with 2 bdrms and showers. It overlooks the pool area but the noise was minimum AND it was nice to jump in the heated pool and relax after a long day at the parks. Definitely recommend.
