Out of date hotel
there is no wifi in rooms as promised so you had to go down to the lobby to have internet access. the microwave is on the first floor so anytime we had to warm something up we had to go all the way downstairs. there was 28 missing ceiling tiles in the main part of the hotel. Hotel doors were screwed shut and things were out to date: furniture, colors, fixtures, etc. There was a nice flat screen tv in the room. There were only 7 cars in the parking lot. The indoor pool and hot tub were okay but to get to the outdoor pool you had to walk out in to the parking lot and it wasn't very secure. Complained to hotel staff about not receiving shampoo/conditioner/etc and never received them as promised.

Great location!
I've stayed here numerous times and will stay again. It's clean, well priced and right around the corner from all Disney attractions. However, they are undergoing some management changes, so the pool heater wasn't working, restaurant wasn't open, etc. If you're picky about these things, you may be disappointed. I, personally, don't go to Orlando to hang out in my hotel anyway so a clean, convenient, well priced and safe place to lay my head at night is fine by me!!

Staff at the desk were quick and efficient, and the price was right. close to everything. Problem is the place is really worn down, spa was not working, no microwave in the room as advertised, had to tip the fridge to open the door in the cabinet and the black mold was everywhere, walls, ceiling tiles etc. i had stayed here 13 years ago and the place was nice but they obviously haven't done any maintenance since then

Don't waste your money!!!!!
This hotel has gone down really bad. They advertise free WI FI but they have turned it off. The bar is now shut down. The owner lives in Mexico and will not repair the hotel. Parking lot has pot holes , no landscaping. There are rooms with no door handles , some with a piece of wood over the hole. I've been going to this hotel for over two years, I knew something was happening when I would pay 100 dollars to stay there now it's 30.00 plus a night. It isn't busy like it use to be at all. The chlorine in the pool and hot tub will just about knock you out.

The room was very old and outdated. It smelled so bad we couldn't continue our stay. The carpet was very stained and there were water spots from roof leaking all over the walls etc. Staff was nice.

The hotel seemed to be in a nice, quiet location with restaurants, gift shops, and gas stations nearby. The staff member at check-in seemed nice enough. However, the staff during check-out was no where to be found. We waited for 5-10 minutes for someone to come to the desk so that we could check out of the room and no one ever came. The hotel room was dirty and out dated and there was no internet offered.

We did not stay. We checked in, went to our room, went to the front desk and checked out. The place was nasty, the people that were staying there were very questionable. Not a place I would ever recommend to anyone. I do not think this hotel should be on your site for people to stay at.

Ok for a night stay.
The price was great. The hotel smelled weird and upon inspection seemed to be falling apart, from the rusted ceiling tiles to the dirty carpets that look as if they've been there since the hotel was built. Sheets and towels were clean, no evidence of bed bugs. Hotel service was barely existent. First impression was not good the hotel seemed deserted.

Slightly below average for a budget hotel
A/C was too cold and thermostat was non operative. No 'do not disturb' sign in room - cleaning staff starts knocking at 8AM, Single cup coffee maker broken. TV remote needed batteries. Carpet looked like it had been flooded recently (was dry - just looked stained). Pool (indoor) water felt weird (oily ??). Staff were having a bad day / week / month. Street sign is not lit making it hard to find at night.

Not a place I would choose again. Our room faced an indoor swimmingpool area that wasn't very inviting. So no natural light. The children beds were in poor Condition. The tap in the bathroom Was constantly running. Didn't match their enviromental ideas. Ex. They only clean rooms three times a weekend. Friendly staff though.

Cheap but old hotel
The hotel was very old, and it showed: our air condition barely worked and the curtains were falling off of the window. The hotel also has no amenities: restaurant was closed, bar was closed, and the Internet was down so we didn't even have that. But, overall, for the price we paid, it was what we would've expected.

Old and dirty but cheap
Hotel is old and dirty. Pool looked like it had algae. The only thing that looked clean in this hotel was the bed. There is no microwave and no shuttles to the airport. There are shuttles to Disney for about $2 a person. No breakfast. The room was very cheap at $53 per night.

Good location
The hotel is in a perfect location near the parks. It's a good value for the price. Swimming pool and spa a bit dirty. Rooms are not really clean but the bed is comfort. I would stay there again if I only need a place to crash.

Really wish I just got my money back
I felt like an inconvenience that I stayed there. From walking in and the clerk having to come out to check us in, she offered no details about the hotel, was put out by me asking any questions. I still have no idea if they offered breakfast of anything with the stay. Everything looked closed and we paid $5 a night mandatory extra for the closed things. The pool was ICE cold and dirty. Everything about the place was dirty. Especially the dirty towel left hanging in the bathroom. We had to ask 3 times for pool towels thinking we were going to use the pool, but after 2 hours gave up and just went back upstairs. The floors were gross and the room was musty. If we were not planning on only being there from 2 am - 9 am, we would have left like other people did while we were there.

Horrible!!!
It was horrible. I receive a call two hours before check in saying the hotel was shutting down due to power being turned off. Got there and was told that they had some employees that were fired the previous day and they were calling people to cause problems. The indoor heated pool was broken. The ice machines were broken. The enternet was down throughout the hotel. One of there two elevators was not working. I don't drink but both of there bars were closed down.

Can't beat this place for the money.
Room was very nice for the price. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Grandkids loved the indoor pool! Area felt safe and lots of places to eat near by.

Room was good, had some damage as if someone spilled a drink and it wasn't cleaned... Pool/eatting area seemed to be damaged, pool and jacuzzi was nice... Seemed to be really nice at one point but now it's worn down, most of the rooms arent in us due to construction of some sort, and smells weird and made My clothes smell like it... Good location, only have one employee running the front desk, all very nice, but need more to keep up with everything and hotel needs to be just cleaned up

This hotels location was perfect. Just a few minutes from Disney and not too far from all other Orlando attractions. This hotel looks a lot nicer than it actually is. The room wasn't too bad, great ac, fairly clean but with a barely acceptable level of coziness. The hotel was a little frightening, broken door handles throughout the entire top floor, cracked tiles, and very confusing map. The pool area was interesting. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't stay here again, unless I was desperate

Literally on the edge of Disney, westgate. Perfect location for this. We were out of Disney and at hotel within 2minutes. Hotel isn't new, looks like it was an old ramada. But it's ok as a base, had a nice indoor pool, bar open fri and sat night. IHOP, Bob Evans, steakhouse, McDonald's, Golden Corral all within 5 minute walk of hotel. Plenty of parking space (late August). This is not a UK 3 star hotel, but what you pay for the rooms I see know reason to complain.

No WIFI at all within the rooms at all, only lobby
This Hotel didn't have wifi in each and every room. Which hotel nowadays doesn't offer wifi throughout. These people who run it certainly aren't prepared for the technical age we live in. The Maintenance personnel however was upfront and advised me that their hotel wasn't set up for wifi for guests and only available in the lobby. It's a shame because they had an indoor pool and it looked nice as well. Oh well, become more technical age appropriate and people may stay there.

Thank you for your comments. We are diligently working towards getting wifi into all our guest rooms. Currently the lobby is set up with wifi and a few guest rooms. We will be adding more guest rooms with wifi in the near future. Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback and we understand the need in this technological age to provide wifi in all our guest rooms and we are making it our priority to do just that.

Saddly,"Grand" was 20 years ago, NEEDS A MAKEOVER
What a shame, this place has so much potential. The location is great, thats the good news. NO HOT WATER the first two nights, we let management know the first morning and had expected it to be fixed by the time we returned from the parks that night. Stayed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, did not have hot water until Wednesday morning! The rooms: rugs were worn through and furnishing were chipped and worn, bathroom floor was not cleaned while I was there and the tiles and tub were milldewed and dirty. I dont think they did more than change the bed sheets (I HOPE). Water damage was evident throughout the hotel, with pealing walls, wet carpets and missing or fallen ceiling tiles. The indoor pool was very highly clorinated, I didnt use it because I couldnt wash off, NO H.W!!! The bar at the pool was closed, no drinks and the restuarant was closed and didnt look like it would open anytime soon since the ceiling tiles were all over the floor. I had booked 3 rooms for my party, Management did do the right thing and credit our bill for the days we went without hot water.

This hotel is not 3 stars it's barely one ! No hot water indoor pool was filthy outdoor pool rarely opened none of the restaurants looked like they've been opened in years , and the so called wifi didn't work at all ! Had a horrible experience here save ur time and money and please go elsewhere !!

I won't recommend it
I went to this hotel a couple of times before and it was nice Because it had a restaurant, bar lounge a pool inside. But now the rooms and the hotel are very bad they need restoration, the room service was horrible, the pool had too much Clorox in it. The restaurant and the lounge are close and the bar is only open Friday and Saturday a couple of hours. I won't go no more until I know they repair the hotel

Pleasant stay
Pleasant 2-night stay - have stayed here numerous times previously. Minor issue with room noise next door on 2nd night. However, more than satisfied for the price, cleanliness and convenient location

After 8 months pass I came back here to stay with my family for a weekend.I was thinking they had finished with the remodeling but not yet.hotel is good but still no microwave inside the rooms...one microwave for everyone come on....will I will try it again on December or January...

Thank you for your comments. Please note the guest rooms do not come with a microwave just the mini refrigerator. We do have a microwave in the atrium free of charge for hotel guests to use at their convenience.

We are sorry for your inconvenience. Please be assured that the key machine was fixed as soon as possible. We did not want the hotel guest to wait on their keys so we had our staff escort our hotel guests to their rooms for their convenience. The hotel guest rooms do not come with a microwave. The rooms come with a mini refrigerator. There is a microwave in the hotel atrium complimentary for guest use. Thank you again for providing us with your feedback.

No good hotel
Didn't even change our sheets the whole week we were there. The hotel smelt like chlorine. There was no complimentary breakfast as promised. Also we got a extra charge after already booking online.

We are sorry you were not satisfied with your stay. The hotel is on the environmental green room program and sheets are not changed everyday but you can request the change daily at anytime. The notification is at the front desk as well as the guest directory book in the guest room. We are sorry you did not notice them. Being one of the only hotels with an indoor pool in the area we must maintain the highest level of quality of pool water for all our hotel guest so there is a Chlorine odor in the lobby for the health and safety of all our hotel guests. Again we apologize that you did not enjoy your stay but thank you for your feedback so we can improve our services for future guests.

Ok place if you're not spending time in room
This hotel was ok, but I probably wouldn't stay here again. The staff was courteous, but the room left some things to be desired. The room was clean, except that it had not been vacuumed. I asked the front desk if housekeeping would vacuum on their next visit, but they didn't. I later found some trash that had been left under the bed-skirt. The beds were comfortable. The walls, however, were very thin and I was awoken a few times during my stay by noises from other rooms. As a whole, the place could use some sprucing up, but for the price of the room, I got about what I expected. If you only need a place to sleep and shower, then this is an inexpensive option. Personally, I would be willing to pay a little bit for better accommodations.

Good hotel
Room was as described and depicted in photos. It was clean and private. Hotel staff is friendly and curteous. Especially for the price, I would recommend this hotel to anyone not looking for a fancy, expensive hotel.

Disgusted.
This hotel was a complete and absolute disaster. I'm never staying here again. First, you walk in and you can tell it's old and overall nasty. It smells like clorox from their in-door pool which looks like it hasn't been clean since the hotel opened. Then when we got to the room, there was a roach inside. I captured it on video to show the staff and they didn't even care. They apologized and that was it.

The room was dirty, there were dead bugs on the floor and the bathroom had mold on the walls with no fan to vent the bathroom after a shower, no food service and got charged for a smoking fee when I don't smoke

Fair hotel based on Price
Hotel was cheap but provided plenty of sleeping space for the kids. We had very little time to actually be in the hotel other than to sleep but it was good enough! This is nothing compared to high dollar resort with 1st class service dont expect to get that. Also many other families were here on vacation. If you want to save some money on your trip and have a decent place to sleep pick this place!

Very old hotel
Very dirty,no confort at all. In our room the tv doesn't work plus the everything was old !! We didn't have a key !!! They have to open the door for us and also the indoor pool was pure Clorox !!! Never go back to this hotel ever again!!!

Please understand that we are one of the only hotels with an indoor pool and as such we must maintain the highest quality for our pool for the health and safety of all our guest so there is a Chlorine odor to the treatment of the pool water. Please also be aware that the key machine was malfunctioning and we did not want our guest to have to wait in the lobby for their keys so we had our staff escort the hotel guests to their rooms. The key machine was operational within an hour. Again we are sorry you were not satisfied with their stay but we thank you for your comments so we can improve our services for future guests.

Horrible experience. Had to be escorted to our room because they couldn't give our room keys. First room was on first floor and was extremely damp and smelled of mildew. I'm assuming.because of the indoor pool. They did move us to 3rd floor which was better but definetly will not be returning.
