Overall the house is as described. However the communication with management prior to our arrival was less than satisfactory and so was the cleanliness of the house. The main areas were tidy but overall the cleaning crew missed a lot. There was a dirty tin foil tray lid on top of the refrigerator, a clump of hair behind the toothbrush holder in the main level bedroom, the fire alarm was beeping due to a dead battery when we arrived, and there was some type of food in the corner on the bathroom floor that has clearly been there for a while. Besides all of that there was also issues with tiny spiders on the main level.
In regards to the check in issues... we asked for an early check in time due to the fact that we were leaving our other hotel at 11am, they kept telling me all day that they were checking with the cleaning crew to see if we could come early. I never heard anything until 3:45, and at that point they told me that the previous guest was delayed checking out so the house wouldn't be ready for us until after 5pm. So not only were we unable to check in early. We weren't even allowed to check in at our expected time, then when we were finally able to get there i had to leave to get cleaning supplies in order to feel sanitary sleeping there. Overall if they were concerned with repeat customers I think the level of customer service could use some adjustments. Ive stayed at this resort once before (not this same house) but another house amongst the property and didnt have any issues. I am already planning another trip back but I am unsure if i would ever stay at one under this managment as of now.
