Worth every penny

Everything about the stay was great, the house was clean, spacious and the perfect home away from home. The pool was great, my son had a ball. I would definitely stay again

This was a great experience the house was nice and everything went as planned except the pool should’ve been a little more at the bottom and some of the TV’s didn’t work but we stayed on our phone’s and didn’t mind nothing of it this was an amazing house!!!🥰

My overall review

Place was nice and spacious and Roomy! Only issue I had was when I used ice from ice maker it was dirty and had some brown stuff in ice so I had to buy a bag of ice . And the pool had a lot of broken water balloons , like if kids was there before me and must used water balloons because they were all over pool and on the deck. But them two minor things house was nice and very spacious.

The house was nice however ants are a huge issue and were in the bedrooms except the main bedroom. Ants were in the kitchen even in the dishwasher. Then an Gas outage in the area resulted in no hot water, heat, the stove wouldn't work, and the dryer blew cold air. So i wasted money on food, couldn't shower and my clothes were damp. This was out of the property control however a huge inconvenience and very frustrating. Some lights did not work either. The air hockey table did not work right. The house is in a great location and accessible to nearby attractions.

Worst experience since started.

The home seemed like it hadn’t been rented in a while. Musty and filthy. A/c worked poorly and wouldn’t cool house during the day. The house was grimy and dusty. Holes in the walls. Moldings falling off. The pool walls and bottom had green splotches. The vinyl fence was covered in mold. And the final straw was after management refused to do anything, the second day ants were crawling on the counter in the bathroom and kitchen. Couldn’t get a refund or any help from the owner or manager so I had to move out and rent another home for the rest of my stay.

Read Me!!!

I rely heavily on the opinions of others. We rent a house in Orlando every summer, I will tell you honestly how this home measures up. Aesthetically, it is older but typical. When I rent I don’t look at that. I want comfort and accessibility. As far as comfort, the beds are old and need to be replaced very cheap mattresses that are worn out. The air is set at 72, if you have hot flashes don’t stay here. We drive to other destinations after FL so doing laundry is a must. The washer stays on spin cycle. It is old and does not function properly. The pool has to be heated (extra charge) for the hot tub to work. It has an auto shut off at 10, so no soaking in a hot tub after a long day at the parks. That was a disappointment. Our AC broke during our stay. The property manager was great. The AC was fixed. They found us another house for the night, it was promptly fixed the next day. Good location easy to get every where. Things I would fix as a property owner: new mattresses, get rid of old dingy carpet, give it a pressure wash and all over paint and new washer and dryer. The highlight of my stay was the strong water pressure in the master bathroom shower.

Great location, spacious home, great pool, nice quiet neighborhood

Although we loved this house, the pool, the layout we were shocked that it cost extra for not only a BBQ Grill but the ability to heat the hot tub? The pool I understand but the hot tub needs to be hot. The other issue is the air conditioning...it only goes to 73 and I think during the nights it would shut off since in the middle of the night we would wake up sweating and the temp would 76. For us Mainers that is very hot and uncomfortable. The king and queen beds were very comfortable but my adult daughter and her friends had the twin rooms and they informed me that the beds were not comfortable and very creaky. We also come from a town that does not recycle paper, plastic, cans, bottles unless there is a deposit. It was very hard to have two separate trashes with only one trashcan. Plus it was slightly confusing as the directions at the home said glass was not recyclable and that trash day was Monday and recycle day was Friday. However when I was looking online after we left to come home it said that glass was recyclable and that trash days were Monday and Thursday. I am not sure what was correct but because of the house info we did not put the trash out the morning we left and I did not put class in the recycle bin. Other then the few minor things that I have mentioned, I would recommend this home to others. Thanks, Trisha Cote Turner Maine

Nice Home

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We did have a few negatives about it. The garage is pretty dirty where the "game room" is. I don't think the floor has been cleaned in there in a long time. The air hockey table is pretty beat up. It was missing one of the handles so it wasn't even usable. If you are any good at pool then the pool table is not really for serious players. The pictures make it look nicer than it is. The pool was nice a big. I wish we were able to use it more but the it rained the time we were able to use it. It's nice to have the pool gated off for the kids though. The air conditioner for the house fluctuates in temperature throughout the night. Hot then cold hot then cold. The garbage disposal didn't work when we went to use it. Hopefully I do not get charged for that. And the last thing which is more my fault for not reading more closely.....I feel it needs to be easier to find in the ad where you have to have to rent a BBQ. I know it's in there but it's almost hiddin. I brought food to BBQ and couldn't get one delivered because they had none available. Again this is my fault, but didn't find out about the "rental" until after i already paid and she sent me the full rental agreement. I see this has happened to a few people so there obviously is a issue with people problems finding this in the ad. We were happy with our stay....although now that I've used VRBO for the first time. I'm finding that there are a endless amounts of really nice houses on here for around the same price I paid. I will choose something a little nicer next time with ALL good reviews.

Black Culy Hairs and Smelly…

Upon our arrival (after midnight) we entered the home to the blaring sounds of a smoke alarm with a dead battery. It took a good half hour to locate the problem alarm, but we were unable to find a latter to reach it, as this home comes with absolutely no supplies, not even extra toilet paper, cleaners, hand soap, pillowcases, etc. By 2am we had stacked up enough furniture for my husband to climb up and remove the alarm- it was a dangerous feet but finally we could get some sleep after a long day of travel. We were so tired that we crashed on the dirty beds with threadbare sheets and stained yellow pillows. However, first thing in the morning we drove to the nearest Walmart to buy new pillows, pillowcases, laundry soap and bleach to wash the dirty sheets, toilet paper, hand soap, shower cleaner, and new towels, as the ones provided had black curly hairs on them. Very gross! By this time I was thinking that we could have stayed in a five star hotel for what this place was beginning to cost, and to boot we lost a half day at the parks- instead we were home washing sheets with a dryer that is on its last leg. That night after a tiring day at Disney (after the smoke alarm fiasco kept us up so late the night before) we came home early to relax in the pool and spa that we paid $170 to have heated, and to escape the musty smell inside the house emanating from carpets that have likely never been updated since the home was built. The pool was ice cold! We contacted the owner and he sent out his maintenance guy the next day. From the looks of it, the maintenance guy felt everything was working as it should and he left it at that. We gave it a try three more nights in a row following his instructions to a T. Yet, the pool was even icier! Eventually the owner refunded us $65 for a pool and spa that was never used! This was our children’s Christmas present- an expensive home that wasn’t any better than a cheap and unkempt Motel Six with a broken pool. Save your money or spend it elsewhere- This place is a dump! FYI: We have stayed in Indian Creek many times and have had an exceptional stay in well-kept homes. However, this trip taught us the value of reading reviews before booking a home- never again will I make that mistake again! P.S. My boys insisted that I mention the broken leg on the pool table which made it utterly useless.

House needs work!!

While the house appeared to be clean, the house needs a lot of updates and repairs. The pool and hot tub were stained and it was obvious that routine maintenance was lacking. The drain cover in the hot tub was broken which could be considered a safety hazard. The jets to the hot tub didn’t work and we reported this immediately. No one got back to us so we had to reach out again. We were told that parts had been ordered, but would not arrive until Thursday. Thursday came and went and no working jets. When we reported the jets, we also reported that 2 of the bedroom fans did not work. We were told a work order would be placed yet the fans didn’t work the entire time. Since the air conditioner can be set no lower than 73, this made for very uncomfortable sleep for several people in the house. Note that other reviews dating back to October commented about ceiling fans not working. A representative of the management company came to the house one morning and went into the back without notifying anyone in the house that he was onsite. We went to leave only to find a truck blocking the driveway with no idea who it belonged to. We honked our horn to figure out who owned the truck. Turns out it was the company's representative who was in our backyard. He was upset with us for honking the horn and got up in arms when we mentioned he had completely blocked all access to the driveway. This behavior is unacceptable. A knock on the door to let us know they would be going into the back yard is all that was needed. To top it off, he left the backyard gate open when he left. After the negative experiences with management, we didn’t report any of the other issues that we noted, as we assumed nothing would be done about them. The following issues were also reported in other reviews: Toilet in queen bedroom ran most of the time. Lights on ceiling fans and several lamps did not work. Stains on carpet and paint chips on walls Coffee maker does not work. Chairs in the kitchen were wobbly. Also, mold in two of the showers/tubs and rusted metal blinds in the shower of the shared bathroom. The pool table is a cheap plastic model not usable. Blind slats were missing in both twin bed rooms. Had to steal slats from other windows to maintain privacy for our kids. Temps dropped so we wanted to open windows, Upon opening the windows, we found the casing to be full of what appeared to be mold, so we were unable to keep them open. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The location near the parks was great so we chose this house after seeing it had a hot tub. We are extremely disappointed and feel as if we were deceived. We requested the heat for the spa at an extra cost. We got there Saturday and went to turn it on around 6pm. Nothing. Called the property manager and left a message. They eventually got back to us and sent someone out. Got home went to put it on…well it doesn’t work so I left yet another message. When the manager got back to me he said it was on a timer for 12 hours 9-9. This is NOT stipulated anywhere. What good is a hot tub after a long day of parks id we can’t use it to relax which is why we chose the house. The lanai had three missing panels letting in bugs and the pool area was complete with used bandaids that were never cleaned from previous renters. The house itself is fine if you are just staying to sleep. It definitely needs updating. Beds are old and uncomfortable. It said linens available…we eventually found the towels in the dryer which would have been nice to know before we ran out and bought some. Communication is poor and then when you call out the owner in this ridiculousness he is snippy. Leaving messages and talking to property managers and VRBO while in amusement parks you pay a lot of money for isn’t what you want to do when you are trying to enjoy a family vacation. Haven’t heard from owner or VRBO regarding my hot tub complaint and request for reimbursement.

I enjoyed the cozy neighborhood but we couldn’t get a hold of the property manager so we could pay for a spa for two days. The rooms were nice but the tv’s wouldn’t stay on. I did though enjoy my 2 day stay there.

Beautiful and peaceful home

We loved everything about the home. Perfect for our family with plenty of sleeping areas. The pool and hot tub were great for after long days at the parks and on our non park days. 20-30 mins from Walt Disney world and Sea World parks. We hope to come down again in a few years and stay in the same home!

No pride of Ownership

We recently stayed in this unit for 3 weeks. The layout of the house was great. The location was wonderful and the neighborhood was nice. NO PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP!I wasted my money and my time here!The pool/hot tub, was extremely important to us.The host advertises a heated pool and a hot tub. It states that the pool and the hot tub will not exceed 95 degrees. The hot tub and pool did not heat the entire first week. They said they “fixed it” and we spent the next 2 weeks listening to a banging noise from the diversion pipe. We were there for 3 weeks! Never did the pool temperature get higher than 80 degrees, making it unusable to us. The hot tub temperature barely touched 92 degrees 3 out of the twenty days we were there, making this essentially unusable also. Plus, the hot tub tiles and grout are covered with mold. Host offered to reimburse the extra charges for pool/tub heating. Still has not reimbursed us.Local management: extremely unhelpfulHost: extremely unhelpfulNothing we expressed concern with was corrected. Fans caked with dust, sheet had hardened stain on it, in the Mbath there’s brown and red stains on the wall by the toilet. Rusted sinks, stove was a definite fire hazard in my opinion.

Definitely Not A Deluxe Villa

This Property looks like it doesn't belong in the Block by the Appearance.Sidewalks are uneven and the amount of little leaves from the big tree in the front yard WILL end up in the property and in the rental car.Rhe house definitely needs a upgrade. Very little untenils they scattered around the drawers to make look as if they had alot. Water stains under the cabinets.The Extras they leave for you are minimal and came from the dollar store (tissue &paper towels) They left 2 extra garbage bags.The Capper is that the Pool Section was missing 2 Screen panels which exposed US to Dragon Flies & A Harring waiting for us to leave on the Roof of the property. I paid for the heat for the Spa and was in it 20/30 minutes one day before my wife noticed the family of Dragon Flies, then the Harring was spotted.No Communication was never continued after I addressed those issues too.

We go to Florida every year for horror nights at universal so we are at the pool all day most days which is why the pool and spa are a priority when selecting a house. Great vacation home. Close to Disney parks. Only disadvantages were not enough towels/washcloths and cosmetically house could use some upgrades. But nothing that would make me not stay here again! Definitely a good place to stay at a great value!

Old and unkept

The pictures currently listed are deceiving in our opinion. The house was dirty inside and out, this includes the deck, pool area, and even lawn. We had issues with toilets and the jacuzzi working, but management was not helpful and would not come back to fix the toilet. There is also a broken shower. Being old would not be a problem if they had kept up the property and cleaned it, we would not recommend using this property.

Our worst stay in Florida

First thing make sure you bring all of the spices coffee crea m and sugar because there isn't t anything for you. Make sure you bring toilet paper paper towels laundry soap and softner sheets. Make sure you bring extra towels there is not enough for the max amount of people wash rags are not to clean It's not real clean the master bed needs a new mattress . We could not go swimming the first week we were there because of a screan not being on the mosquitos would eat you up the jacuzzi did not work are whole stay.

Spring Break

Overall the place was not horrible. The furniture was outdated and needs a deep cleaning. Additionally, there were a lot of spiders. What was the most problematic the pool needs cleaning and the spa that I paid to have heated never worked despite maintenance coming out twice. I will have to say it was quit and maintenance came quickly after we called. One other thing, I do not recommend going if you’re a sports watcher because there is only a very basic cable plan so no sports channels, not good during March Madness. I do recommend owner replacing cookware, very limited.

Great property, but probably best for summer stays

This was a great property that is in a great area if you're looking for plenty of options. Close to Disney and Universal, a lot of different dining options, and several shopping locations nearby. The property listing is spot on--photos are true to form (no 'realtor' tricks to make spaces look bigger or different), and the space was great for our family of four. But, in full transparency, there were some things that weren't great: - If you pay for the heated pool and spa like we did, note that the heat only works between 9am and 9pm, and you have to turn on the spa (on a 60-minute timer) multiple times to heat the spa (and have some heated water trickle into the pool). That wasn't good. After a long day at the parks, all we could do was stare at a cold pool and cold spa wishing the timer could be set later. - The pool level fell below the minimum, so we had a day when the system had shut down. We had to run a cold hose into the pool to get the water level up and have the maintenance crew reset the system. - Speaking of maintenance, the crews will come by unannounced and let themselves into the yard and pool/spa area, so be aware of that. This freaked out my pre-teen son a few times. - There is no instruction manual in the house like it says in the email. There is a list of instructions on the refrigerator. - The surrounding houses are VERY close together, and all the backyards butt up against each other. This was a little problematic when the neighbors were outside smoking cigarettes and weed, which quickly stunk up the outside. - The vents and fans in the house were covered with dust, and the bathrooms had mildew or black mold. The vacuum cleaner didn't work at all--it was old and seemed to have a clog in the hose. - We recommend taking your own pillows. The ones provided seemed old and very flat, and who knows the last time they were cleaned. - If you go in the winter and there is a cold snap, be prepared to freeze inside. The heat was set to 61 most times, and turning up the heat was only temporary. We had two very cold nights where we could see our breath in the bedrooms. Overall, the house was good and the location was great. This was a decent stay for us, and certainly much cheaper than staying at a hotel, but we probably won't rent this property again for our next Christmas week vacation. With the restrictions on the heat/air and pool heating, this is better for a spring, summer, or fall rental.

It was okay . . .

While the house is a nice house and has potential it lacks in cleanliness. Definitely NEEDS a GOOD scrub inside and out. Pictures in listing are deceiving. Owner needs to give this property a little TLC and hire a new management company. As I know its a "rental" i should not expect perfection but the management company this owner uses should take more pride in representing their customers. We stayed a full week, pool was not very clean, patio area could use a good power washing. Bathrooms really need a good scrubbing. We cleaned upon arrival after a quick trip to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies. Bring towels for the pool as none are provided and extra bath towels if traveling with a large party. Beds need to be fixed as headboards are very loose. One of the twin beds in the back left "boys" bedroom cannot be slept on as it tips toward one side. As soon as my son sat down upon arrival the bed flipped toward the wall. Vertical Blinds throughout the house do not close properly, time for an upgrade on them Kind of BS that you have to pay extra for a heated pool or to use the hot tub. Should be included in the price in my opinion, other properties i have rented didn't charge extra. And for the cleaning fee charged house should be immaculate. We left it cleaner than we found it. Stove needs to be serviced its dangerous for the gas to leak out of the side of the burners on very bottom when burner is turned on. So we opted to not cook at the house and ate out. Bring toilet paper as one roll per bathroom provided. The pool table and air hockey table in garage is a nice touch but both need work as they are very rickety and nearing retirement. But, aside from the cosmetic flaws, house is in a great location. Quick on and off highways, lots of great places to shop and eat. 25 minutes top from all Disney parks and 35 minutes from Universal. Quiet, safe and peaceful neighborhood.
