Hotel Macià Real de La Alhambra

8/10 Good

"The room was great and the beds were comfortable, but the shower is not very enjoyable."

Macià Monasterio de los Basilios Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Really enjoyed my stay. It’s a beautiful old monastery with a proper courtyard and lovely tiled corridors. My room was immaculate and had a view of the church tower. I’d spent most of the day walking round Granada, and it was lovely to come back somewhere so calm. Very good value for somewhere with this much character. I’d happily stay again. The bed was extremely comfortable. I spent an hour just laid on it when I arrived and didn't want to move. The bathroom was wonderful with a hot powershower. This hotel is a great example of a really well run establishment. The reception staff were warm and friendly. The room was immaculately clean and I felt so much at ease. It was so quiet as well. Didn't have breakfast as it seemed a bit pricey compared to some of the cafes in the centre. But otherwise, very good. The Tv worked well. I didn't need the air conditioning or heating. It was a comfortable temperature. Overall maybe one of the top places I've ever stayed in. A real sanctuary on the edge of the centre."
