"This family-owned traditional Norwegian inn is a wonderful alternative to the dry corporate alternatives often experienced in travel. The owner and his wife are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clean. Located up in the mountains overlooking the green valley below you will not have to look hard for a good view nor will it be difficult make lifelong memories here. "Great hotel, colorful with a nice decoration and a garden right on the lake. A great place to stop for a night ot two if you are on your way to/from Oslo and you want a peacful place. The room is cozy and simple, good value for what we paid. There is also a glamping option in the hotel which looked super nice. We also ate dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and really enjoyed it. Really sorry we could not stay more than one night cause this was a true relaxation. Recommended!"
