"Clean room, very small, could not work out hot water over sink, heater didnt work, tv hard to work out. Had no tv.check in very complex if you dont have aphone call on your plan.shower base very slippery needs a shower mat"

"This hurts me to write as I grew up in Masterton and Solway Park was always such an icon - NZ's most complete hotel, etc... When we came back to town recently to visit family, I was excited for my kids to stay there. Unfortunately, what we found was tired and in dire need of a refresh. I went to iron a shirt - the iron splattered red gunk (from the previous tenant no doubt) across my shirt. I went to call reception to ask for a new iron - the phone didn't work... I had a shower - the water ran cold after about a minute... Hopeless. And, as a local, embarrassing Oh, and I have to buy a new shirt now too. "
