Minutes east of I-43 nestled in beautiful wooded acreage with a short walk to the shores of Lake Michigan. This cottage is on a private drive and a great panoramic view. The only neighbors that are close by are the owners of this cottage which gives this a great appeal for those who value service. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake Michigan with a tranquil walk down our lane. We are 12 minutes from Sheboygan where the famous Blue Harbor Resort is located along with several unique restaurants and specialty shops along the Sheboygan River. Sheboygan County has several opportunities for golf enthusiasts including The Bull at Pinehurst Farms, Riverdale Country Club, Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits. Ryder Cup is at Whistling Straits just 20 minutes away from the tournament. For fishing enthusiasts Sheboygan offers Dumper Dan’s Charters where you can take a ride on Lake Michigan for some exciting fishing. Racing enthusiasts? Just a short drive away you can enjoy weekend races at Road America in Elkhart Lake. For those who like to shop we have several local towns that not only have antiques and boutiques but also several good local restaurateurs and wedding venues.

Girls’ weekend

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and cozy cottage! The setting is very peaceful and the place had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend to anybody staying in the Sheboygan area!

Great house, great location, great host!

We very much enjoyed our stay! Amy thought of everything from brochures,maps, stocked kitchen and bathroom, plenty of towels, cute decor for sale, games, etc. The location is close enough to Sheboygan, Kohler, Port Washington - we hit them all! In the summer, we would have parked ourselves at the beach. Gorgeous! The walk to the entrance is 1/4 mile down the drive.

Cozy winter getaway

We just love everything about this place! It's super clean, beautifully decorated (and so festive around the holidays!), cozy, comfortable and in such a peaceful location. The hosts are always great too. This is our third time coming around the holidays and we always look forward to it. Maybe this year we'll try to go in the summer too :)

Cozy Cottage Getaway

We just loved our stay here - the cottage is so comfortable and cozy, and is located in such a peaceful setting - it was perfect for our family's little winter getaway! Amy and Wayne were wonderful hosts as well. This was our second time here and we hope to visit again soon!

We had an amazing girl's weekend at the cottage. The home was immaculate and we loved that it was walking distance to the beach. It was the perfect size for us and it was even decorated for the holidays. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

Lakeside Getaway

This is the second time that we have stayed at Sandalwood Cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There were small hints of autumn decor that made it feel extra inviting and the distance to Kohler Andre State Park is perfect for our beach visits.

Cozy family stay for races

Loved our stay. Wish we could have used the fireplace or fire pit but our stay just wasn’t long enough! It’s about 25-30 min to Road America which was fine for us. Plenty of room. Comfortable beds, pillows and blankets! Pretty wooded setting. Will look to book again if going to area!

Cute Clean Cottage

We had a wonderful stay. If you are particular about cleanliness this is your place. The place was immaculate ! It has great natural light and it’s cozy. The decor is adorable and the cottage offers many seating areas. It offers a very quite peaceful setting.

Tranquil Retreat

This was great get away from it all, while still being close enough to be as exciting as you want your vacation to be. We enjoyed doing many puzzles in front of the fire, the local state parks and more than one area supper club along with a walk on the beach from the cottage on our first night. The owners are extremely responsive and helped me by suggesting Best buy or allowing for an Amazon delivery when I realized, more than half way to our destination, that I forgot my fitbit charger. We would absolutely spend time here again. Thank you!

Perfect getaway

we loved our quick getaway from the city to be in nature and relax in the woods. The cabin was absolutely perfect for this and furnished beautifully. If we had more time and it wasn't Christmas, would have been very easy to drive into town or up to Kohler. But for our brief visit, it was enough just to get up and go outside and hear the lake and sounds of the forest. We hope to stay here again!

This is such a darling little cottage, neat as a pin! It felt like coming home because I adore the comfortable, country style. It had everything I needed and my time there was both restful and healing. I will definitely be back. The hosts are kind and considerate.
