Gorgeous property!! Would definitely stay again and can’t wait to go back. The private beach is very clean, smooth sand and sea floor- the cabanas are worth the fee and view is unbelievable. The staff was very friendly and the grounds are very well kept. 10/10!!!

Belize Reef Escape at St Georges Caye offers an unforgettable island getaway with some of the most breathtaking views of Belize’s famous blue waters. The resort’s location is ideal for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty—every sunrise and sunset is picture-perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible Belizean food, lovingly prepared by Yoli. Every meal was a treat, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable, peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The staff at Belize Reef Escape were exceptionally attentive, always ready to help and ensure a wonderful experience. Excursions organized by the resort were a blast—snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, and more. We highly recommend asking for Jay when booking excursions; he brings so much energy and fun to every trip, making each outing memorable. It’s worth noting that there aren’t sandy beaches at the resort or on the island, but the clear blue waters, laying in the hammocks and reading our books and the amazing excursions more than make up for it. We did have some issues with the hot water in our room, but this may have been user error, and the staff was quick to address it. I’m confident it’s no longer an issue. Overall, Belize Reef Escape on St Georges Caye is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for relaxation and authentic Belizean hospitality. Nice pool very spacious room, king bed was so comfortable; location is much quieter than areas further north on the island; purified water was provided in the room; staff helped to arrange golf cart delivery to resort and cab pick up from the water taxi; only issues-on day of arrival we had to take alternative taxi as our assigned driver was not at the pick up site and the golf cart delivery was late. These were independent companies so not direct issue with Lighthouse Villas. Our cab pick up on our day of departure was on time and security helped get our bags downstairs! Staff team members, Diana and Rob, were very helpful and offered clear guidance and recommendations. Overall a great stay!

If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip.
