"We really enjoyed our stay at Ricao! Absolutely gorgeous views, comfortable accommodations, and fast responses from the hosts. So lovely to sit outside each morning and enjoy coffee in the beautiful mountains. We were particularly grateful for the company of the donkey who greeted us each morning. We called him Bernardo, and we were sad to leave him when it was time to go.If you decide to stay at Ricao you do need to know that, as stated in the description, it is not close to any restaurants or...

"The rooms are nice with confortable linens. The location is nice, but the view of the mountains is not quite what we expected. One of the bathroom has a strong smell coming out of the bathtub. We were happy to find a restaurant 500 meters from the house, but you would need a reservation to eat in. The contact from the company is nice, but only speaks spanish. She was responsive and helpful via WhatsApp."

18. El Jermoso Country House in Picos de Europa, Mountain Views & Terrace

Posada de Valdeón

"This mountain house was positively delightful. While it was in a pretty remote location, the views were breathtaking. It's located in a quaint tiny village on the Cares trail -- definitely bring provisions with you as the kitchen is perfect for cooking meals (and the food is so good in this area it's hard to make a bad meal). After a long day of hiking, we cozied up next to the fire, and enjoyed the mountain night sky against the craggy peaks of Picos de Europa. Bedrooms were comfortable, and...

Top Onis Hotel Reviews

Parador de Fuente Dé

10/10 Excellent

"Really nice hotel, beautiful surroundings, absolutely no complaints."

Hotel Villa Rosario, El Palacete

10/10 Excellent

"Location , view , room space and comfort great . What I was very dissapointed in , so beware ! , arriving mid September no bar or restaurant open , no service offered outside of breakfast . We chose this hotel because we would be able to sit on terrace with a drink each day , and eat dinner there as we chose . Our room cost did not change with 2 key amenities unavailable . Take care to ask right questions when booking . Breakfast service fabulous ."

Kaype - Quintamar

8/10 Good

"The location next a very nice beach was its best feature. However, we were put into a room in a building that was not attached to the hotel proper rather than in a room in the actual hotel. But the staff was very responsive to our requests for a small refridgerator. And the beach was very nice. All in all, a nice stay."
