"The Lakehouse was an awesome getaway, from a great upper deck to watch over the lake views and sunsets, boat lift with a deck to sit over the water and fish from, great views from inside the lake house, host had a cabinet full of family games, garage was full of family games also for the rainy days of spring break, and the lakehouse host is very responsive and helpful if anything comes up. Overall we enjoyed our time and lakehouse is very close to plenty of in town food, drinks, and grocery...

"It is defiantly a lake house. We had plenty of room, beds were smaller, no master sweet. The cleanliness was not great, lots of spiders and bugs. Pots and pans were scorched. For what we paid it was not up to such a high price."

"LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Our family rented this house to be in the area for our son’s graduation from SHSU. We had family fly in from California and this was the perfect gathering space. Plenty of room, a gorgeous view, opportunities for outdoor activities, and close enough to town so that last minute or forgotten items were easily attainable. We wouldn’t be surprised if once this gem is discovered, it’ll start booking up fast. Take advantage of it now!"

"This place was a great spot for us to stay while visiting family in Texas. Enjoyed the decks, kayaks, and paddle boat as well as the fire pit. Only negative is that with the hard water in the area you have to use a lot of bottled water and there isn't any recycling. Nothing that this place can help, but perhaps knowing that I can come better prepared if we were to stay here again. Owner was very communicative and thought of everything. Truly a lovely place."

"We love staying in cape royal. This property is very comfortable especially the beds, it was very clean and everything was very convenient. The record player with hundreds of vintage records was a really nice touch. My teenage daughters had never seen one and we’re intrigued not only by the record player but the musical selection. "Property perfectly suited our needs. Stayed over Christmas holiday visiting family that lived in the Cape. Comfortable beds, clean nicely decorated house, quiet street. Would definitely stay here again and would be my first choice in the Cape."

The pool is not a block away, its a 14-15 minute walk or 3 minute drive, the beach, play area and dock are about 3 blocks away. Renters deserve to have the correct information when spending money to go on vacation. It was a great stay. The Beach and dock are wonderful!"
