"We got into our room just to find out it smelled like urine. Our room was switched and was fine until we got ready to go to sleep. We pulled back the covers and our sheets were dirty, brown spots in several areas. Our room was switched again - upgraded to suite. There were two dead bugs on the floor. One side of our fitted sheet had dried blood on it. We slept on the top of our comforter for the night because were exhausted from driving and moving rooms. We won't stay at this hotel again - EVER! The desk person kept apologizing and telling us she was very embarrassed about the cleanliness of the room. We took pictures of room 2 and room 3 just to be able to show the front desk. Aweful!!! "

"This LaQuinta property is a poorly remodeled older hotel. Staff was pleasant. Lobby was nice. Rooms and bathrooms were just “lipstick on a pig”. Parking was terrible."

"The house is very old. 40-50 years old. Bathrooms need updating. Windows are covered with dark curtains so house is very dark. Bars on the windows. Patio was dirty. However, the beds are comfortable, and house is clean. Pictures are deceiving. Pool table is miniature. If want a vrbo that is a no frills building with clean comfortable bed, this is for you. But be prepared to pay 300.00 nightly."

"The room was dirty. The bathroom floors were not cleaned in awhile. The ceiling was dusty from the A/C vents. The shower floor was filthy. Parts of the shower were broken. In addition, the water glasses in the room had dirt inside. The elevator was not working during our stay so we had to use the stairs to transport our luggage. We stayed there out of necessity. We had very little options."

"I recently stayed at the Hilton in Dothan, Alabama, and my experience was far from satisfactory. After paying for a specific room, I was given a completely different one that lacked basic amenities. To my dismay, the bathroom didn’t even have a shower, and it seemed they assigned me a handicap room instead. I had spoken with Kara earlier in the morning, and she confirmed that my room would be ready upon my arrival. However, when I got there, it had been given to someone else. To make matters worse, the ice machine was empty and there was no creamer available for the coffee, which made the stay even less enjoyable. While Amy tried her best to assist me by providing extra bed sheets to make a makeshift bed on the floor for my family, this shouldn't have been necessary. I paid for a room that was supposed to accommodate us comfortably, yet we had to resort to such measures. Additionally, my room didn’t even come with towels, which is unacceptable. To add insult to injury, I was informed that I could have a late checkout at 1 PM since the usual time is 12. However, at 11 AM, my room card stopped working! This was just the cherry on top of an already frustrating stay. I would not recommend staying at the Hilton in Dothan, Alabama. Unfortunately, my experience was a series of disappointments, and I expect much better from a hotel that carries the Hilton name."
