"Beautiful historic hotel located in the "old castle" portion of the castle of the King of Navarre. The initial building dates back to Roman times and was add to by the Visigoths and again in the 13th century. The hotel is beautifully decorated, clean and right on the center square of the town. "Stopped off for one night on route to Southern Spain with our two dogs. It was our first visit to Olite and we will definitely return! Olite is a lovely medieval village with pretty cobbled narrow streets. The hotel is family run with a wine cellar and cosy restaurant/bar serving traditional Spanish food. Every member of the family we met were friendly and helpful, all areas of the hotel spotlessly clean and the room we were allocated had a fabulous view over the mountains. We and our two girls...
