"This hotel was an overnight stop off between the coast of Asturias and Rioja. It was very affordable. It did not have the charm of the old buildings but everything we could wish for was there. "The posada was a comfortable place offering a good breakfast. The location was ideal for us exploring Cantabria. The staff were helpful and friendly, and via Google Translate, we were given good recommendations (and help with booking) on places to eat, places to visit/walks etc. As it’s name implies, it is set in a small village, so having a car is ideal, although the train station is just opposite. Overall, good value and enjoyable stay."

"La casa roja, que es solo una parte de la casa, pues se comparte con la casa azul, es oscura en la planta de abajo, donde solo hay 2 pequeñas ventanas. El dormitorio es pequeño con una cama doble pequeña. Tenia solo un edredon nordico, lo cual a finales de agosto no es lo más adecuado... El pueblito es muy bonito. "
