"The Croft is well equipped for its size and set in a fantastic location. It was perfect for our short family break and an ideal base to explore this beautiful area. Lyall is a great host and I would highly recommend."

"Lovely, spacious rooms and delightful staff. Dinner menu was fantastic and we took up the offer for packed lunches (sandwich, yoghurt, crisps and delicious rocky road) for our continuing NC500 journey which were excellent and very inexpensive.
Loved the laid back atmosphere, we felt comfortable and at home.
Definitely recommend! "

"This pod is bigger than it looks we were over the moon. Unfortunately we were only staying one night . In the morning we had 8 deer in the field opposite our pod. Excellent welcome pack with milk and breakfast items plus 4 eggs. We wished we had been staying longer"

"A very clean and well presented homely property in the centre of this working fishing settlement . It is spacious and has everything you might need, if you haven’t the Spar shop is just across the road. Lovely Oldshawmore Beach, one of several in the area, is only a ten minute drive away and Kinlochbervie is well placed for exploring mountains inland, the dunes and enormous beach near Durness, points of interest like Smoo Caves or taking a ferry ride from Tarbet to Handa Island."

"A stunning house in a lovely location.The house is very clean and comfortable and absolutely anything anyone could need is provided! We loved the books and board games after some glorious walks. Everything was perfect."

"House was nice and clean, stocked with some of the basics you like to find (salt& pepper, washing liquids etc). The hosts made contact and offered to light the fire for our arrival which we were grateful for having got rather wet in the morning. We were also able to do a load of laundry before continuing our road trip. The local was a bit of a hidden gem being in between the Lochs, the access by harbour was great and our boys really enjoyed having the place to themselves for a while. It was a very welcome stop"
