Traumurlaub!

Die Mühle Catharina ist ein perfekter Ort, um die Urlaubstage zu genießen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen, egal, wie das Wetter in Nordfriesland ist! Sie ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Alltag braucht - sowohl in Küche und Bad, als auch im Wohn-, Ess- und Schlafbereich. Die Lage zwischen Husum und St. Peter-Ording ist ideal für unterschiedliche Unternehmungen und die Felder um die Mühle laden zu ausgedehnten Spaziergängen mit und ohne Hund ein. Vielen Dank, dass wir dieses wunderschöne Feriendomizil nutzen durften!

Gerne wieder!

Wir haben hier eine schöne Woche mit unseren Kindern (3 und 10 Jahre) verbracht. Es gibt in der Nähe viele lohnenswerte Ausflugsziele, wir waren im Herbst da und haben am Strand von St.Peter-Ording Drachen steigen lassen, einen Ausflug in die Wikingerstadt Haithabu und auch „Klein Amsterdam“ (Friedrichstadt) gemacht. Die Mühle ist ein zauberhaftes Ferienhaus, Treppensteigen sollte allerdings kein Problem sein.

Mühle ist cool

Die Mühle ist ein liebevoll saniertes Objekt. Das Einchecken ist total unkompliziert über Türtresor mit Code. Beim Reinkommen waren wir überrascht von der Grösse der Innenräume. Das Erdgeschoß ist mit riesiger Küche mit einem Eßplatz für locker 8 Personen und Ausgang zum Gartenbereich ein toller Ort . Die Ausstattung der Küche war gut und ausgelegt für alle " Koch - Lebenslagen ". Von dort gehen 2 kleine Schlafzimmer und ein sehr geräumiges Bad mit Dusche, Wanne mit Whirlfunktion, beheizten Handtuchhaltern und Fußbodenheizung ab. (hätten wir gerne mit nach Hause genommen). Im 1.OG gibt es ein sehr großes Wohnzimmer mit vielen Sitz und Kuschelmöglichkeiten, großem Flach-TV und Ausgang auf die Terrasse. Dort haben wir den einen oder anderen Sonnenuntergang bei einem Glas Wein genossen. Beim Eintrieb der Kühe in den Stall kann man sich mit ihnen unterhalten. Beim "Muhen" blieben einige stehen und "muhten" zurück. Letztendlich kommt man in die 2. Etage über eine sehr steile Treppe in ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit WC und Waschbecken. Im Bett hat man den Blick durch die Glasdecke auf das alte Mühlrad. Keine Angst, es ist festgezurrt und knarrt nicht. Mit dem Auto ist man in ein paar Minuten beim Bäcker, Fleischer und kleinen Einkaufsläden. Zum Strand nach St Peter Ording fährt man ca 30 Min, je nach Verkehr. Unser Fazit: die Mühle ist schön ausgestattet, bei den Treppen muß man halt etwas aufpassen. Die Mühle liegt zwar an einer Landstrasse, aber abends / nachts ist fast kein Verkehr und es ist sehr ruhig. Wer also mal ganz anders "wohnen" möchte, ist hier richtig. Wir haben die eine Woche in der Location jedenfalls toll gefunden und können sie nur weiterempfehlen.

Die Mühle ist super gemütlich und komfortabel ausgestattet. Sie bietet genug Raum für Rückzug und gleichzeitig gute Möglichkeiten für Gemeinsamkeit. Wir würden gerne wieder dort Urlaub machen

Super Erholung in alter Windmühle

Eine sehr gepflegte Unterkunft mit historischem Charme. Die Mühle wird vor der Ankunft professionell gereinigt und ist damit sehr sauber, die Betten sind bezogen und frische Handtücher im Schrank. Das ist Urlaub von der ersten Minute und kein Nachputzen wie in vielen dänischen und schwedischen Ferienhäusern. Der Vermieter ist nicht vor Ort, jedoch per Handy problemlos zu kontaktieren. Von der Mühle aus haben wir viele Ausflüge unternommen: der Strand von St. Peter Ording - ein Traum, Husum und Tönning - zwei malerische Kleinstädte, die Hamburger Hallig mit einem grandiosen Blick über das Wattenmeer, die Insel Helgoland mit dem Schiff von Büsum aus und Flensburg als Tagestrip. Die Halbinsel Eiderstedt ist auch gut mit dem Fahrrad zu entdecken, Deiche, Bauernhöfe mit Direktverkauf und kleine Restaurants zum entschleunigen. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub in einer sehr schönen Unterkunft. Die Mühle ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Traumhaftes Ambiente

Wir waren mit unseren Freunden und zwei Hunden in der Mühle und waren einfach nur begeistert. Die Mühle ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail restauriert und eingerichtet worden. Hier kann man sich nur wohlfühlen. Von der Mühle aus sind viele schöne Städtchen wie Husum, St. Peter Ording oder Friedrichstadt in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Wir würden es wieder tun☺☺ Christiane, Konni,Uli und Bernd
