"Very friendly people! Super clean room. Super clean property. Short walk across the road to the beach. The breakfast was basic but did the trick. They had coffee, apple cider and hot chocolate. Breakfast items are all prepackaged snacks but a decent variety. Granola bars, wax chocolate donuts, berry or apple cream cheese danishes, the little Nutella breadstick cups, fruit snacks, and other treats. We were very happy with our weekend stay!"

"Price was reasonable right next to Lake Superior. Nice short trail to get to the beach. Old home but had comfortable beds. We spent most of the time on the beach and shopped a little so we didn't spend a lot of time in the house. It fit our needs just fine. We cooked our food and walked to the beach and ate around the fire on the beach and watched the sunset. Only complaint was the back yard was a eye sore but like I said its the prefect place to stay at is you are look for beach access which is basic right by the house. The house inside was super clean and had everything we needed to have a wonderful experience in the UP. We even found Yooperlites on the beach and a few at Agate Beach!! A wonderful stay!!"

"Perfect!!!The cottage is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need and is absolutely spotless.The beach and sunsets are amazing!We found about a dozen yooperlites and even a few pieces of beach glass.Great location for visiting The Porkies and easy day trips to Black River Scenic Byway or The Keweenaw.Rob and Lori are very responsive and have clearly put a lot of thought into their property. We would highly recommend staying here."
