"Great place to stay, near the town centre. Has a gym if that’s your thing. Didn’t bother with food as explored the town for food instead. Room clean with everything you need for a good nights stay. Staff friendly. Only complaint was that the music from the gym was v loud & could be heard in the hotel room from 9 am. "

"Tidy n clean rooms, but tired looking building and corridors. Free Parking, excellent location next to train station, Tescos, local takeaways, would stay again if travelling that way."

"Room was barely clean whilst half lights not working. Rails to stairs hadn’t been cleaned in ages and covered in grime. At busy times the bar staff were useless more intent on chatting than helping out else where. Food was ok but the breakfast was about the worst I’d had anywhere. On one good note the chap on night duty was really helpful."

"The hotel was clean and the room ok. The swimming Pool was out of order though and as it doesnt have air con the rooms were hot (they did provide fans and they can't really control the weather so it's not their fault!) It was probably a nice hotel in the 90's"
